I've been learning about Power Man and Iron Fist lately. It's been fun.

I'd go to school if it was more self paced and easier to get into. I've got like 3 or 4 different college class credits floating around cause it's such a pain to get that stuff all transferred.

why aren't all colleges in the same country connected at this point? It's easier to share your medical info than your college history.

If i was to ever go for a degree, almost guaranteed I'd have to take two classes I've taken before.

Old school games can be a blast. Toe Jam and Earl came to mind. Gradius and other shooters come to mind. It really helps just suck me into the games. New games can do it, too, most games are fun high; older games almost have a better use of color, maybe cause it was more limited

People kind of over-anthropomorphize their dogs which is why they have such strong reactions.

Remember, people started calling themselves pet parents ironically then it became very much non-ironic very quickly.

Got a new young coworker who confused all of us cause she said she has 3 babies with her husband of just a couple years. The math really didn't work out until she explained her dogs are like her children.

The thing is, most people objectify their pets and that's just wrong.
Over the years, it's owners that bother me more than pets.

Truly a curiosity question, so kinda interpret how you like.
do any of you card holders currently have debt on your card?
I never do except for the couple days i don't check it, but then i pay it all off.
Some people like to carry a balance, some people hate all debt, some people are stuck in debt, etc.

If you usually pay it, but sometimes don't or sometimes leave things for next month, that's where sometimes comes in and rarely is if maybe you put debt on there for like just holidays or a summer vacation or something.

True. I guess I was expecting more varied responses, like maybe someone is Jewish, had a terrible experience with a certain day, hates a certain food like turkey, etc.
While mine is related to work and not getting paid, it's the irony of it. Like, how do you celebrate that day when labor is being shafted? There's almost no meaning or anything positive about it and people don't care when you do actually talk about it. The amount of people who have no idea what it is even about is sad.

wpot posted...
Most of those holidays have little to do with the original reasons that they became holidays the way people observe them.

I get that but that's why I capitalize upon the positivity of the holiday and what I enjoy about them.
Like today, I'm not Irish. In fact, I'm English which is kinda their rival. I'm making corned beef patties though and wearing green and adding colors to my nails. There's not much depth to what I do, but it gives me something to look forward to every year.

I'll do something similar for Easter with food and my nails but I'm so far from being Christian or Catholic, nor have I done anything related to lent at this point.

holidays are what i make of it, especially if it doesn't hurt anybody.

I don't care about free speech or my right to choose to not give one...I don't even want to be made aware that there's even a possibility to give them that extra in some way... It's painful for me to even know that its an option they present to anyone.
