If you didn't use a skill after so many times in battle you could actually go down in ranks. that was also changed in the remaster so stats do not go down in ff2 and HP is easier to gain since if you go a few battles without gaining hp the game will just give you an HP growth --- yusketeer |

What was the penalty? you lose a percentage of your job levels every time you switch jobs so if you want to try a new job you need to grind its job levels up to make it useful then if you want to go back to your previous job you will have to grind job levels just to get it back to how strong it once was its irritating thankfully gone now --- yusketeer |
