Coming from a 20y rs3 vet (quit in 2022), don't bother with rs3, unless you play ironman. It's currently a husk of its former self and feels more lonely than ever at max level, let alone the midgame leveling spots.

I stopped playing in 2013 and started again around July 24, and Ive had a blast with it, but finally tempered down to where I want to play other stuff.

I will never understand the appeal of Ironman. Its basically Hey, you know probably the grindiest MMO of all time? Lets make it an infinitely grindier single player game by removing the ability to trade anything.

But if I had to start over period for any reason Id just stop playing. No way Id do certain quests ever again (like Mournings End Part 2, or whichever one it was with the big light puzzle).
