I just unlocked the Potion Storage from Mastering Mixology and it's a fucking game changer. Holy cow! So much saved bank space now and easy potion dispensing. No more manually shifting bottles with different doses around!

Leagues V, currently 3-6-0, tier 8. Not playing too much cause the holidays but trying to do some ToA with other CE friends when I get the chance.

I kinda dropped off Leagues myself lol. I've been wanting to maybe start raids soon but idk if my stats are high enough yet. I'm lvl 80 in everything, have Elite void set, but don't have any Zenyte jewelry except the Ring of Suffering >_> Are the raids really punishing if I don't have any of those?

Never done a raid outside of Leagues, but ToA doesn't really need a suffering, maybe in the monkey room? But that's not worth taking over a light bearer. ToA is as hard as you want it to be, you can do low level ToAs with mid gear.

Wild this game is still popular to this day. But no other game scratches the same itch.

I looked it up and yeah, it's just singleplayer OSRS. idk if I'd ever play it though >_> I don't want to restart the grind again somewhere else lol

I play RS3, no interest in OS whatsoever.

My group ironman team is done for lmao.

1 person only plays on his main. He pretty much said he won't focus on the gim till he maxes. Which could take months!

1 person stopped playing osrs. They are playing final fantasy 11 instead

Two members started dating eachother. They met irl a few times and were like talking with eachother since the summer apparently. This relationship is over now since one (my gim leader) ghosted and blocked the other including the rest of the gim team (on discord).
We do believe our gim leader was at fault. Probably had a wife or gf the entire time he was visiting the other gim member. Prob blocked all of us because he didn't want his partner to find out or something

So it's just me actively playing it. I feel like making a normal ironman now just so my EHP is tracked properly. But I prob won't because im too lazy.

The group storage may be unsafe now because our gim leader is untrustworthy lol. Im not gonna put anything expensive there.

Been afk mining stars while tackling some of my PS4 backlog. Hit 50m mining recently. Got 20ksh points in leagues in case i want future rewards, want nothing from this batch though.

They have their own individual banks but there is a shared group one yeah.

Also pretty sure the gim member playing ff11 is trying to hook up with the gim member that just got ghosted. Told me he was willing to send her like a couple grand to fly over to Europe where he lives.

He did offer me the same deal (he is bisexual) not too long ago but I never responded to that specific question lol. He knows what I look like through video chat and all that

Also yeah my GIM team is definitely not a thing anymore. Buuut the drama has lessened for sure after some recooperation. Just talked to two of the members (the one who got ghosted) and the f11 guy about our POS leader lol. We noticed he's still gaining xp on his main after blocking us and everything too btw.

The europe thing from f11 guy was serious i actually might take him up on the offer in the future.

i think it's possible to kick out someone from the group too but doesn't really matter anymore since im the only one willing to play on it still.

Banged my head against the Speedrunning world for 3 hours before finally getting enough points to get the tier 3 Adventure outfit and change my Graceful set. Feels good man >_>

I just completed the Morytania Elite Diary. Took a while to get 91 Fishing to hit the needed number with an Admiral Pie. Mainly did AFK Barbarian Fishing and Tempoross with a Crystal Harpoon.

Great to unlock the 10th Herb Patch for some easy cash.

I do envy all the quests/lore you guys get to do + interacting with all the gods. Wonder if OSRS will ever allow us to enter Menaphos or finish the many uncompleted quest lines it has...particularly the Vampyre series.

It does feel like there are way too many skills though and I can't understand what is happening with the weird menu you guys have.

Maybe once I am done with OSRS I will give it a shot.

If you download the plug in and have 81 herblore, it's okay. But asking people to grind to 81 herblore for access to all the potions is a pretty big ask tho >_>

Oh, there is a plugin now? Great to hear. I have 83 Herblore, so as you said, maybe it is fine.

I just read up a bit. I'll try to break it down from what I learned lol

Basically you have to supply your own materials which requires grinding cleaned herbs in a grinder next to the minigame. Different herbs give 1 of 3 different colored paste to use. Just look up a chart on the wiki to see what herbs give the best value for what paste. You can store up to 3000 of each paste in the minigame at a time

As for the game itself, you get 3 orders at a time. Each order using a combination of 3 pastes as well as 1 of 3 mixture methods. When you complete any part of the order, you get points based on the potion, before reseting with a new order of 3 potions. You can submit 1 potion and get the normal value, but if you submit 2 of the 3 potions at once, you get a 20% bonus. And if you submit all 3 at once, you get a 40% bonus. You generally want to submit all 3 at a time unless the order is really really bad lol (ie: It's all pure potions or it's mostly blue potions or such). Then just submit 1 to clear the order and hopefully get a new order

Each of the 3 mixing methods have their own special action prompt to get them done faster. The Crystalizing one requires you to click it again at 4 or 5 puffs, the mixing one requires you to click it when you see fireworks, and the concentrating one requires you to repeatedly click it with tick timing to speed it up (don't go overboard tho, or you might click it after the potion is done and accidentally start concentrating another potion you may not have wanted to)

You generally want mixtures over a pure potion (ie: a MMA or MML over a MMM potion) because they give you more value for your paste. For example, a MMM potion requires 30 red pastes to complete (10 red paste for each "M"), but when you submit it, you're only getting 20 red points. But if you submit a MML potion (so 20 red paste and 10 blue paste), you get 20 red points and 10 blue points. The best potion is a MAL, which requires 10 paste of each color, but gives 20 points of each color as a reward. It's a pretty rare order though.

You generally want to go for the red points more (the M), because all the good rewards have a higher red cost than any of the other colors. Don't neglect the other colors obviously, but try to favor red and the other colors should keep up the pace regardless. Blue is the one you require the least of on the flip side.

One last thing is every so often (like once every 7 minutes of active play when you have 81 herblore), a plant spawns in one of the 4 corners and double the points you get from a single potion. The best way to utilize this plant is to put it in a MAL potion and submit it with a full order. Even if you don't have a MAL order yet, just make a MAL potion, put the plant in, and set it to the side in your inventory until you get a MAL order and know how they want it mixed. The plant wont respawn if you already have one in your inventory, but if you use it on a potion and just hold onto said potion, it'll start to respawn again

tl;dr: Grind up clean herbs for paste, use pastes to make potions, mix potions how they want, submit potions for an order, repeat for 2-3 hours to get the potion storage lol

Phew, I think that covers it >_> Honestly just dive in and you'll get the hang of it. It's way easier than I made it out to be, especially if you have the plugin

What weird menu? lol

There are several legacy options in RS3. i.e., you can use the traditional combat system if you don't want to use the regular MMO-style skills. Or if you're lazy like me (and not doing bosses any time soon) you can set up skill rotations with the new system and they just automatically pop off.

And you can use the old interface or the new one or mix and match however you want.

I'm gonna try to get 99 fishing on batcakee. Tempoross is kinda burning me out though and I just hit lvl 79. I have 666 permits stored up. Used up around 100 prematurely a few weeks ago.

Might just level to 82 through barb fishing which i find a more sustainable grind and then pull the rewards. Since level 82 fishing allows for max rewards at temp.

Then from 82 to 99 ill afk at karmbwans. Need a bunch for cooking xp and pvm.

I really want the untrimmed fishing skillcape.

I've halted hunter training for now (stopped at 98) since I still want the giant hill club before i get it which I realized will require me to kill like 10k Hill giants for enough obor keys to hit the drop rate.

ugh saw they updated the star chasing D&D in RS3, decided to give it a try since I've never touched it, keep messing it up and missing it.

Think I need to finally just build out my POH... need to find a builder app that will let me make a layout and show me how many resources I need to complete everything.

Im in a similar boat, as Im nearly maced out on bank space (and I mean max max, in that I cant buy anymore to kick the can down the road), so I really need to redo my POH and build a costume room so I can put some skillcapes and skulking outfits and costumes etc in there to try and make some room.

I've only found a few but they are generic and just say how much it'll cost without construction materials.

I bet I could build one in Excel (like someone did for Archeology) but idk if I'm just going to use it once what's the point lol

Coming from a 20y rs3 vet (quit in 2022), don't bother with rs3, unless you play ironman. It's currently a husk of its former self and feels more lonely than ever at max level, let alone the midgame leveling spots.

Fornithy is amazing. If you go there on World 84 there will be a ton of free portables, and people will spam Advanced Pulse Cores and Cinder Cores like tic-tacs.

During DXP, I had around 86-88 Construction, and a pulse core boost temporarily boosted me to 96-98, then I built the Level 3 upgrade on the Chapel, Ranging workshop, and Town Hall, and by then I was high enough for a pulse core boost to randomly get me past 99, so I was able to build the Level 3 Command Center. By the time it was all said and done, I went from around 86-88 to 94 Construction just building those Level 3 upgrades during DXP.

The Grove is where I usually start my tree runs for Farming too, and its the closest Fairy Ring to a lodestone (though its about the same as Yanille, but there are other reasons to go to Fornithy).

I stopped playing in 2013 and started again around July 24, and Ive had a blast with it, but finally tempered down to where I want to play other stuff.

I will never understand the appeal of Ironman. Its basically Hey, you know probably the grindiest MMO of all time? Lets make it an infinitely grindier single player game by removing the ability to trade anything.

But if I had to start over period for any reason Id just stop playing. No way Id do certain quests ever again (like Mournings End Part 2, or whichever one it was with the big light puzzle).

Yeah, played it for a couple of days, it was pretty underwhelming.

There's only a few quests per zone.

You level up a unique set of skills in each zone. The reasoning makes sense - for hardcore players who want to grind there'll be a lot to grind, but for casual players you can get through the story playing at a more reasonable amount of time.

You have to subscribe to play past the first zone.

I played at launch and the multiplayer was practically pointless. No reason to trade with other players, and there wasn't even a traditional chat box so if you were trying to grind and talk to people you'd have to pay 100% attention to the screen to see if a chat bubble pops up.

Gathering nodes were all over the place - you'd go to one map section and it'd be low level stuff then go to the next map section over and it'd be level 90+ stuff and then travel to the next map section and it'd be like level 20 stuff.

Ultimately it just wasn't that engaging. And I don't know how many times they could write the game's name in the dialogue...

Everything involved with Desert Treasure 2 can fuck off. That was the very last quest I completed for the Quest Cape and it took me like 30+ deaths and 2 weeks to complete lol

Yeah. Prayer switching while a lot is going on will always be my weakness. But combined with my colorblind ass, Leviathan can fuck off. I am completely incompatible with him.

Levi is my favorite of the set personally lol. Whisperer is the one i hate. Am waiting on rigour to grind out Levis vestige though. Ive been slacking hard with gear progression on the ironmeme, just been afk skilling mostly for a while now.

Rancour on September 12th my last upgrade x_x Really need to get back to pvm at some point.
