I barely edit anymore; basically just putting up works that I enjoy and don't have a page for. They're hyper-political and incredibly anal about what a trope means or how to name one. I've never been on the winning side of any policy debate save the one to keep the "group of family-like friends" from being called nakama because of fucking One Piece weebs.

Then they slash and burn content because the clique who runs the place decides to kill a trope and don't replace it. So if the "Everything Has Monkeys" trope is no longer a thing, it's not their job to find the appropriate trope, so a game having combat gorillas doesn't mean anything. Guess military apes are People Sit on Chairs.

They're also the biggest apologists for bad writing; they have to be since fan-fiction is their beloved fetish. An A-10 Thunderbolt lifts off vertically? A allosaur and a tyrannosaur fighting over a dead mammoth? It's all artistic license--nobody has to try and ground their stories in facts and calling them out is wrong. Just like things dammit.

Guh. I just barely interact with them anymore.
