While I was in Laverre City, I had to deal with Team Flare at the Pokeball Factory. Most of the battles were really easy, but I had a scare in a double battle where I was partnering with my rival against two Team Flare Grunts. One of them had a Manectric, who survived Return and then did massive damage to Fletchling and also paralyzed her with Spark. I wasnt even anticipating this battle being difficult, so I still had the Everstone on Fletchling and not the Eviolite. Thankfully, my rivals Chesnaught knocked out the Manectic as I healed Fletchling, then she took down the Liepard that the other grunt had. Forced team-up double battles are annoying, but at least this one doesnt count as me being forced to use a second Pokemon since the game gives me an AI partner.

Anyways, after that, I went through Route 15 and reached Dendemille Town. I had a story-related chat with Professor Sycamore (it was boring), visited the Move Reminder to double check what old level up moves Fletchling can re-learn (Natural Gift is there and now Steel Wing is an option too), stocked up on healing items thanks to a Hex Maniac randomly selling Moo Moo Milk (insert lewd fanart of Hex Maniac with huge tits here) and the next objective on my journey is to explore Frost Cavern.
