Third attempt at the battle against the three goofballs. This time Aerodactyl confused Fletchling with Supersonic again, and Fletchling hurt herself in confusion. After I used a Persim Berry from my bag to heal the confusion. Aerodactyl got a critical hit and the Ancient Power omni-boost at the same time on its next attack, and at that point I knew the battle was lost and reset. On my fourth attempt, Aerodactyl used Ancient Power on the first turn instead of Supersonic and didnt get the boost, so Fletchling was able to use Steel Wing. Aerodactyl survived it with a sliver of its HP left and confused Fletchling with Supersonic on the next turn, but this time she attacked through the confusion to KO Aerodactyl. I healed the confusion the next turn with a Persim Berry as Trevors much less threatening Florges barely did anything, then Fletchling was able to KO the Florges with 2 Returns and finish the battle. After all of the experience gained from these battles (the failed attempts aside from the one I reset still gave experience for the Pokemon that I managed to knock out) Fletchling is level 72 now, but her low base stats are really starting to become an issue. Shes having trouble 1-shotting Pokemon over 20 levels lower if she doesnt get the chance to use Swords Dance beforehand.

Now that these battles were finally over, Shauna gave me the HM for Waterfall (which Ill teach to my HM mule Froakie) and I went through the rest of the route to Snowbelle City. But now I have another problem ahead of me the last gym is an Ice-type gym, another gym that Fletchling is weak to!
