Yes. HR often relates more to specific company policies anyway tbh.

There's a more "technical" side to HR (payroll, health and life insurance, pension funds) but I figure a part-time job will just have you coordinate, input or file HR requests and documents.

HR is however a fascinating field and the idea that there's no challenge or movement within it is false. Employer branding, talent acquisition, diversity, etc. often fall under HR and they are exciting topics for sure (imo). I have worked in HR consultancy in the past and it's challenging/quite interesting, and much more literature-heavy than you'd expect. I enjoy it.
