Actually I used to walk around barefoot alot when younger. For asphalt/roads, you can walk over the bumps in the road to slow down cars or the cross walk areas with paint as they are colder, also your feet do get used tt it and a bit more calloused (but it doesn't look bad or anything). If you walk on tar/aslphalt your feet will get dirty/blackened though until you wash them.

Bare foot is great for people who are flat footed, which I am, i hate shoes, but eventually grew to get used to wearing them. I would have gone barefoot all the time if I could, but real life doesn't let you do what you want lol.
