| Topic | How many things are you wasting money on a month that you don't use? |
| wolfy42 07/18/17 12:22:19 AM #13: | I'm still spending over $100 a month on comcast ($140 if you count the 40$ we pay as part of our home owners HOA fees). That does include my internet though. $30 of that is the stupid DVR (you get a normal box for free, but not a second one, and you pay full price for the stupid DVR, so I'm paying $30 a month because I have the DVR). I may get rid of that soon, which will bring the total down to about $110. I can't avoid the $40 that is part of the HoA fees sadly, even if I got rid of everything else. The internet is 30$ + 10$ (speed increase) + 10$ (modem rental). If I got my own modem that would go down as well, but I'm too lazy. So with $50 for my internet, and $40 I can't get out of, I'm wasting about $50 right now on cable (not even sure how/why that is...I think most of it is taxes).
