I wasn't actually currently reading the book, I just wanted to get back to the story, and thought at first it was on the TV, until I realized I was reading it, not watching it. That happened because at first I was actually watching it on tv, and THEN I decided to read the books. So now my mind just automatically went back to the first format that I was following the story on.
