I know the X has higher specs too, but I don't care. That was their dumb ass decision to limit physical game customers to the high end model, and then to spec it out so much that it apparently increased the price 67%, not my problem.
God, next gen is going to suck so bad...

It is smart of them to try and sucker people into monthly plans like phone carriers do. Doing the math, it looks like the Series S plan makes the game pass like $12.50/month and the Series X makes it $14.20/month.
Yes, that's if there was no interest, but it's still fascinating that those opting for the plan on the X means you're effectively paying more for the game pass. Not that I expect anyone buying this crap to even think or care to figure this out.


If you look at digital game prices vs. physical, you'd see that the 200 dollar difference will be made up quick. I still think the difference should've been smaller, but the physical is definitely worth it for the specs difference and the physical games being much cheaper.
