The first 5 weeks will be play-in tournaments (no bounty bot stuff this time around) and the 5 bots that advance from those will join the 3 most recent BattleBots world champions in a Tournament of Champions in the final episode. The first play-in tournament tonight features a few veterans like Rotator, Skorpios, and Valkyrie, as well as the recently re-designed Kraken and a few newer bots to the competition. As a reminder, please put any discussion of match results under spoiler tags until 24 hours after the episode airs out of consideration for people who can't watch the episode live, especially if you decide to watch the episode early on Discovery+ or MAX before it airs on TV. Showtime for us TV viewers is 8PM EST tonight on Discovery, or you can check it out on the streaming options I mentioned above.
