Topic	Does anybody else not get Dune?
PraetorXyn 03/03/24 10:38:01 AM #6:	Dune was a very trippy book, and its not great as a story IMO, though it has top notch world building and philosophy in it. As for getting it, this is basically all there is to it. Frank Herbert saw the way people practically worshipped JFK. He didnt trust charismatic leaders and felt that following them could only lead to disaster.
