I'm not talking about pre-election, I'm talking about post an election loss. The right will kill elections at that point, and not recognizing that and trying to vote your way out afterwards is useless. We should do everything we can, including elections to stop it from getting to that point because afterwards, all that's left is direct action politics.

I don't agree with that. People always say they see leftists saying this, but I don't. I'm not on Twitter, that's where you and Humble Novice seem to be seeing it. I was just at a major leftist conference a few weeks ago, I'm talking communists, anarchists, socialists, DSA, labor radicals, you name it, thousands of people, and no one there was talking about abandoning electoral politics or abandoning democracy. They were of course incredibly disappointed with Biden and there was a lot of discussion about actions to take to pressure him. But no one advocated sitting out or letting Trump win.
