It's standard procedure in UK politics to give this kind of issue to an 'independent' inquiry. It gets it off the table for a long time, and then everyone can say, 'Hey, I'm not being transphobic. We had a proper report done by experts. We're just doing what they said. Do you really want us to ignore our own experts?'.'Dont listen to experts listen to those you voted for.
