SMT is ok, but i should have specified, hi-scifi. Like Star Trek. Not so much like Cyberpunk. How do you define "hard" sci-fi, exactly? I love Trek, in all its flavors, but if someone asked me to recommend them hard sci-fi, I'd say to go watch something like The Expanse. You can't exactly call Trek soft or space opera, it's not like that space wizard franchise, after all.
