I went to an AA meeting once and I didn't get it either.

What's worse, one time I tried to check myself in for alcoholism treatment at the local clinic. It was advertised online that they accepted my insurance, and offered online treatment.

So I did a 3 hour new patient intake, only to find out at the very end that they stopped doing online treatment, and only do 4-day/week in-person treatment between the hours of 8am - 1pm Mon-Fri. And that they don't actually take my insurance, every visit costs $450 until I hit my deductible ($7000). Including the visit I had just done. LMAO got cranked hard on that one

So I went home and installed an alcohol diary app and didn't drink for a while and realized that I'm not an alcoholic, I'm just bored af and like to party with friends.
