| Topic | Christian Nationalist despises Democracy; wants to repeal 19th Amendment |
| Frolex 08/16/24 11:04:11 AM #27: | wackyteen posted... isn't part of the point of the New Testament to override (some/all) of the Old Testament? No. This is a post-biblical apologetic, one often employed by modern christians in order to reconcile their values of humanism that come from the secular society they grew up in with the heinously anti-human value of their religious texts, but it's completely without scriptural warrant. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. There is absolutely no point the new testament says that the law of the torah is to be abolished. And specifically relating to the role of women, the new testament frequently reiterates that men are to be heads of household and women are to be subservient to them. The guy in the video is absolutely in line with the biblical position of women in society. --- http://i.imgur.com/HOLHd4k.gif http://i.imgur.com/six2WTN.gif ... Copied to Clipboard! |
