They feel like absolutely anyone could be doing the killing and the consistently the only person involved that gives a shit is Donald Pleasance. H20 is all right and a bit of a reclamation of series identity. Resurrection immediately returns to boring, ambling bullshit The Rob Zombie movies suck, especially the second one. Halloween 2018 is a very good modern slasher. Halloween Kills is stupid. Halloween Ends is a complete swing at a miss on a somewhat interesting concept. I think of all the big named slashers, Halloween definitely has the most duds. Maybe Hellraiser but I've honestly had way more fun watching the bad sequels than Halloween's long stretches of boredom --- I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth ...
