It's not good by any stretch of the imagination, but I also seriously doubt it's going to be as bad as some people have convinced themself it will. America is going to be shitty for a little while, but it will survive, there will be further elections, and for that matter there's a very realistic chance Trump's health means he doesn't survive the full term (and while Vance may not be a good person either, not to mention a couchfucker, he's much more of a typical right-wing political type rather than another Trump). Most people who really are fucked under Trump were already fucked; there's just less pretense that they aren't now.
