The plot reason why is he gave you a name but no calling card has been delivered (The Phan Site is used as the calling card for Mementos targets but either the team decided it had to be done in person or maybe his mom doesn't read the site who knows)

Didn't they say that you can hear Morgana's speech if you go into the Metaverse? I remember Sae went into the Metaverse for a few seconds, but she can't hear in the real world. Or did you have to go into the Metaverse and hear that version of Morgana speak? Because Akechi seemed to hear Morgana just fine before meeting him in the Metaverse.

I know this doesn't matter at all, by the way.

Eh, this feels a lot like I can't go back and continue more confidants. Oh well, I finished everyone except Haru, Chihaya, and Shinya anyway. Sucks for Chihaya and Shiya in a story capacity, though, since I didn't change their boss/mother's hearts.

Chihaya was a much better confidant than I anticipated. Not Yoshida-tier but definitely solid.

12/24, but the Mementos targets I needed for two confidants disappeared.

I just remember Shinya's response dialogue being like "you have to trust the Phantom Thieves" and now apparently that was a mistake on his part.

I'm with Leon here. I also gained a new appreciation for the final dungeon and writing after looking into some of the deeper "guts" the dungeon's and boss's identities.

The final part of P5 is one of my favorites. I'm in the minority there though.

I love one particular aspect of the final stretch a lot, but the overall finale kinda pales in comparison to P3's and even P4's finales.

Anagram won't have the problem of comparing it to those games though, so I'll be curious to see how he reacts to it.

Also, I like how everyone just sort of assumed that this immobile grail-looking thing would fight back even though it has no obvious way to do so. They've been playing this game as long as I have, I guess, so they know everything ends with a big ol' fight.

I like how the only confidants we see in the animated cutscene are Sojiro and Mishima. I didn't pay much attention, but I bet they, Sae, and Igor are the only confidants you absolutely must get. Then everyone shows up in an in-game cutscene except Shinya and Chihaya, who I guess didn't gain the ability to see blood falling from the sky because I didn't max their confidants.

And just like Marvel, the most important characters disappear way more slowly than the less important ones for no reason and get to have a final talk with each other.

It's funny because you'd probably be saying the opposite thing if you'd played P3 and P4 because that's what he sounded like in those.

Having the red angel boss get healed from near death by his summons to full twice in one battle is pretty much the most annoying thing I've experienced in this game, and it's not even over yet.

Well, Igor's VA is different in P5. It's more appropriately creepy in P3 and P4, honestly.

Finally killed him with a lucky crit. That was easily the most frustrating boss in the game.

Yeah I miss Igor's VA from P3 and P4. It also makes the P5 reveal way more stranger because the game foreshadows the plot twist by having Igor have a different VA, but then when the real Igor comes back he sounds different (and worse) anyway.

The Japanese version just used old clips from the past games when real Igor showed up. I don't know why they couldn't have done that for the English localization too.
