Cohen filings are in:

A lot in them - both SDNY and Mueller - but some of the things I'm seeing reported out.

SDNY says Cohen committed campaign finance crimes "in coordination with and at the direction of Individual 1" (Trump)

SDNY also says that even giving him some credit for helping Mueller that Cohen should receive a "substantial term of imprisonment"

Mueller's office says in November 2015 Cohen got the contact info of and spoke with a Russian who claimed to be trusted in the Russian Federation and could offer the campaign "political synergy" and "synergy on a government level"

https://twitter.com/bradheath/status/1071159048584609792

Also yooooooooooo the highlighted part of this footnote: https://twitter.com/nycsouthpaw/status/1071161560213700610

"Defendant admitted that this account was false and that he had in fact conferred with Individual 1 about contacting the Russian government before reaching out to gauge Russia's interest in such a meeting."

FWIW, that was what SDNY said about Cohen. Mueller's office seems to have gone "We take no position on what you do about a sentence. He went to significant lengths to assist though."

Don't think SDNY was involved with Flynn, that was just Mueller.

And we still have the Manafort filing later today, but it sounds like we're definitely going to redacted town. Saw a reporter mention that Mueller's office wanted it sealed but the judge said nope. So yeah, expect redactions everywhere.

Edit: Also, the guidelines would have Cohen face 5 years. He asked for 0. SDNY was like "eh he helped Mueller so let's call it like 3.5"

I think the headline out of the Cohen and Manafort filings is that federal prosecutors have concluded that Trump committed a felony (in coordination with and at the direction of...). However, the plotline I'm most curious in is definitely the footnote from Mueller's memo saying Cohen conferred with Trump about contacting the Russian government (after having lied about it previously.)

Went ahead a dug some stuff for you directly from the report itself:

Page 11 of the Report:

In particular, and as Cohen himself has now admitted, with respect to both payments, he acted in coordination with and at the direction of Individual-1.

And just so we have no question of who Individual-1 is(also page 11):

On approximately June 16, 2015, Individual-1, for whom Cohen worked at the time, began an ultimately successful campaign for President of the United States.

Colluding with Foreign Nations to manipulate the outcome of the American elections is illegal. We aren't talking about simple statements of giving a candidate vocal support, we are talking about hacking opposition communications, ect. As far as the money goes, the money is meant to come from American citizens, when you have a foreign nation pouring in lots of money into a candidate's election, there is a chance he isn't even thinking about the constituents who aligns with their views let alone the nation that they have to govern as a whole. If you are ok with another nation having a bigger voice in America's domestic policy than the citizenry, and ok with opposition candidates being hacked by foreign nations(sorry no amount of cash is gonna protect a candidate from state sponsored hacking from nations like Russia) then I have nothing to say. Also, you might want to research the Supreme Court a bit. As much as they have expanded the 1st Amendment, they have put limitations on it.
