Yeah people don't like it her, but I don't think it's because she's a bad character. I don't really know any universally agreed upon bad characters that I like now that you mention it. Horizon Zero Dawn fans seem to hate Aloy a lot, but that feels pretty contentious and I don't really think the fans that hate her have any good reasons to do so.
