No, they are probably not even going to reach the semi final next year. Not only will every major team be going all in on them now that they've consistently shown to be tournament contenders with some of the squads starting to rebuild, but this shootout probably mentally ruined at least one of Sancho, Rashford and Saka for the rest of their international career.

This was probably their best chance of winning for a while. Do not be surprised if we run into Argentina, Brazil or France in the round of 16 and drop out.

I think England got very lucky with their draws in recent tournaments, but I think they'll likely keep improving. I like seeing them do well and there's a really likable bunch of players there right now. Hope the young lads don't get any stick for missing. Italy were probably the best team throughout, though, and I'm really glad to see them win it.

Denmark will be thrown into that dark horse tier I feel.
I don't think Denmark is at Belgium 2018 levels of expectation yet, mostly because they don't have guys who have the level of exposure that squad had.
But do expect them to be strong!
