Perhaps my favorite dumb joke that makes me laugh hysterically every time (again, because I took French in high school) is when Gumshoe in 3-5 tells Phoenix that, after he's done his stint in Europe, he'll have to call him Detective Gumchaussure. I feel like they made decent use of the DS functionality when they could. Danganronpa Zero Escape Ghost Trick - A really fun game with some memorable puzzles and a wild ending. If you thought Ace Attorney Missile was great, wait until you meet Ghost Trick Missile. I've never replayed this game though. Maybe I should remedy that sometime. Picking the Wrong Options on Purpose - I like to do this when it's consequence free, but I'm not as prone to do it when it requires save scumming and reloading to see all the options. As such, there's probably a decent bit of dialogue I've never seen just because I haven't been as willing to go through the hassle. It'd probably be a bit easier to do now with how quickly the game saves and reloads on modern platforms though. I'm not sure I like you wagging your finger at me as though I were some hoser! Ace Attorney on the Wii - I never played this one, but the main appeal was being able to use the Wiimote to point and do Objections. I remember Capcom put out special art for each game showing the characters attempting to play with the Wiimote. Half of the characters don't understand what's going on, and the other half aren't even paying attention. I'm not sure what they were attempting to convey there! There will never be an epic case with this sort of pacing again. Sometimes I wonder what the series would be like if this case never happened simply because Edgeworth's entire character arc depends on it. I honestly didn't like him until this case, and then it made me like him once I understood why he is the way he is. You have three trial days with three miracle saves, between Maya, Larry, and then Phoenix himself. Watching von Karma finally sweat after busting out the metal detector is one of the most satisfying moments in the series. The only downside to it is that its appearance makes it super obvious the case is basically over, so it removes a bit of drama.
