Who hasn't checked in yet? Looking at the player list I can't recall anything from ctes yet. And maybe death?

I think it's only Ctes and Death that haven't said anything yet, yeah.

Death is time zoned so that's not surprising. I forget if ctes is in the same boat.

But I keep circling back to red and that bizarre check-in.

IIRC Death and Ctes are both in Europe-based time zones. So yeah, I don't expect either to say something within the next couple of hours. But the day only started five hours ago and we've already almost filled up a topic, so it might even be longer before they're able to catch up and post lol

If they hadn't checked in 4 hours ago they weren't going to check in after that. Nothing surprising.

I was mostly just trying to be a smartass and get under Blade's skin. I know he can expertly deflect me and manipulate me, he led bloodborne to a scum win in part by maximizing my stubbornness vs Lopen after all. His play is more substantive sooner than it had been there, since he's not piggy backing off of someone else to lead the charge like he did as scum. But his argument against sbell wasn't really convincing for me. That doesn't make blade scummy, but i don't like how he petered out after the sbell push.

Isquen, what do you make of the game so far? Any town or scum reads? I think you may be the most under the radar for me so far. Thats not an accusation, Id just like to get some thoughts from you on the record.

Yeah I feel like ctes is the one I keep forgetting is also time zone'D. But if they are the only two that's pretty good.

That paints quite the picture and gives me a better idea of who Blade is and how he plays. Your articulation with how he interacted with SBell is also noted. You're not making these arguments up on the fly. +1 town points for Peaf.

Like you want me to give you tabs on when my D&D ends? Sure. But I wasn't doing that.

You are the one who said that my vote was an indication that I wasn't reading the game, but you are just wrong. My vote was not than justified and after your responses I'm happier with it now than I was when I placed it.

Like, I never "left" anywhere. I've been at my PC. There was no point I wasn't necessarily capable of checking it. It just mattered how attentive I needed to be to D&D at any moment.

That's just par for the course for me, it seems. My analysis on Day 1 always gets downplayed as not contributing much of anything, but I guess that's just on me for seeing almost nothing of substance in most Day 1 interactions since almost none of it is based on logical play and reasoning.

Also, Ulti, chill out. Don't resort to mean-spirited insults so easily. Whatever your opinion is of Lopen, saying Crescent is better is just awful and is crossing the line. I'd rather have Lopen in my Mafia games over Crescent any day of the week.

Ulti is most likely town. He said he doesnt know the flavor, but hes clearly engaged in the game and seems energized. This means he likes his role. Not vanilla. He would need to like the flavor to get pumped up like this while vanilla.

Ulti could also be a fun scum role. But despite him being wrong at least in part, I like how he came out the gates.

while i follow the logic here and agree, no town points to wallz for this analysis. I think any of like 15 different players could have said this (it gets said in many games)

You're also trying to argue semantics with "I technically wasn't going anywhere to play D&D". My point wasn't that you physically left your computer chair, my point was that you left the Mafia topic. Only to seemingly return and say a whole lot of nothing.

This is red JUSTIFYING his countervote. And to me it reads:

"I'm not just voting him because he voted for me, I'm voting him because he displayed that he is not paying attention to the game"

The implication being

"FD pays attention to the games he is playing in.

This post of his shows that he was not paying attention

Therefore FD is exhibiting behavior that isn't typical

Therefore I can vote FD because he seems scummy and not simply because he voted for me"

The accusation of his countervote, to me, reads that he's voting me because I displayed a lack of my normal attentiveness which is discretely different than "I'm voting FD because his vote on me had stupid reasoning".

Voting me because he thinks I did something to indicate I might be scum is one thing. Voting me because I had a vote he didn't like (on himself no less) is another.

So yeah, I think this is scum red. I think he was distracted and sloppy and he's exhibited behavior that I would not expect town red to exhibit.

Not that he should be allowed to get away with that, but I'm not sure what's different about Red here compared to in any other game.

Where are you even getting that I returned. Again, I was playing D&D. I was here the whole time just not guaranteed to be available.
