I think a lot of people have only had pineapple on pizza from chain restaurants where they use that really crappy/soggy canned pineapple that doesn't caramelize at all

I like pineapple, banana pepper, and green olive pizza. It's just really acidic, and like like acidic foods.

I only like meat toppings on pizza. I can tolerate other stuff but I'd never order it.

Then you should try the Woodman Club, it'll knock you over the head with its acidity!

A nice club bread with your preferred cheese toasted on it with fresh ground pepper, a small sprinkle of oregano, a sprinkle of vinegar, mayo, spicy mustard, deli Turkey, deli Ham, onions, thin tomatoes, pickled jalapenos, and if you really want the extra acidity then some banana peppers.

Its delicious.

if you pull off the pineapple, it's just a ham and cheese pizza, which isn't too bad

Yea. But there's a huge difference between 'It's not my preference' and 'you put pineapple on a pizza? You're an ignorant monster who doesn't get what pizza is!' I don't like anchovies. I hate them in fact. I'm not gonna give a peep if someone wants anchovies on their pizza.

No. It's just the most well known tropical place. Pineapple is a tropical fruit. I suppose it would have been more fitting if instead of Canadian bacon they put spam on the pizza instead.

It would work for me, it's my second least favorite type of pizza (anythign with anchovies is #1).

To be able to order pizza, but only that type.....well played hell, well played.

always wondered about that.

doing some study on my family history though whom came from Hamburg Germany. there is debate on where the hamberger came from, one side claims america (texas specifically I think) and the other well Hamburg. both claiming they invented it within the same time era, which is possible for two people to have similar ideas, but naming it the same thing? i'll believe Hamburg did though as the name makes more sense that way considering its made of beef not ham

though the german version had I wanna say fried eggs on it as well. either way though I'll believe they did it first, but as said my family is from that area so I got some bias

I actually think it was Hawaiian Pizza that started the idea that Hawaiian food is filled with pineapples and that Hawaiian people like to put pineapples on things, because it's not true, at all.

Hawaiian people also don't eat ham all the time.

Nothing about Hawaiian pizza is actually representative about what people like to eat in Hawaii.

If you wanted to make a pizza with something Hawaiian people love on it, you'd top it with Spam.

This topic makes far too much sense to me. Here in New Zealand we have a pizza franchise named 'Hell Pizza' where of course you can get Hawaiian pizza (they call it 'Greed').
