I find it very suprising that Mircosoft still is supporting the system since PS4, PC and Switch is kicking it's butt so hard. I mean people where like Nintendo is doom company with the Wii U. But i can name off great exclusive titles that make me buy a Wii U.

Dreamcast failed in 2 years and it's consider one of the greatest system of all time. Neo Geo Pocket was a fantasic machine compared to gameboy, but that machine only had like a 6 month life cycle in the states.

I'm suprised people don't go around like they did with the wii u and other other failing machine saying it sucks and doesn't bring anything new to the table. I'm guessing it's because 360 was so great last gen that it's keeping the name alive.

Sony and Nintendo would make actual exclusives and Microsoft could make forza on ps4 and switch.

it has the best online service out of everyone, and the best controller with an even better controller available.they have backwards compatibility with every xbox ever made for free, something sony makes you pay for (and has about four titles), and they're pushing cross platform play, something sony refuses to do because of "the children" despite nintendo also being on board with it.

The controller is alright. But probably my least favorite. Though I probably like it a little more than keyboard and mouse. I know that you can like build special ones online, but you can do that with PlayStation, too, I think...

I think there were some games I'm could play from an older system, but I would have to double check that.

Didn't cross-platforming accidentally happen once. And Sony shut that shit down once it did, IIRC.

I usually buy systems for the new games. And most people o know who buy systems also do that for the same reasons. I did think about building a PC. But now is the not the right time due to life stuff...

It's a success, in the sense it is probably still fairly profitable for MS in North America. Overall though, I am confident it has disappointed them. They dominated last gen until Sony stopped fucking around in 2009 and things began to slowly shift. I have no idea what they were thinking with mandatory Kinect (charging an extra $100 for something you want to force on people was stupid - they should've ate the cost and had a better value product then made up the shortfall with software later) and the "always on" nonsense that was worst of all... Did they not use any market research on that one? Type "I like always online products" anywhere on the internet and wait for everybody to queue up to throw shit in your face. Rumours of it were circulating a year before the Xbox One announcement was made, so there was no excuse to have their finger that off the pulse, further proven by how quickly it was reversed when the public essentially said, "okay Sony, I guess you've won."

As a PC gamer. PC gaming absolutely sucks balls and the ridiculous amount of money required to build a high end machine is just better served elsewhere.

If I was terribly interested in gaming at all I would just stick to consoles

I just wish they would stop changing it. I feel like it's gone through a few since I got it.

I haven't played in a while but it seemed pretty consistent when I did. It's been months since I've even played any games though

i just wondering if they are trying to exit the console market like sega did, and now focus on pc marketplace instead. they will be a bigger publisher instead of a console maker and they can pull a profit from all the windows users using there window store.

I know Xbox one X just came out and it's like shooting themselves in the foot saying that. But again, Dreamcast didn't last long in market and it was the most sold launch console for it's time. They heard Ps2 was coming out and they just folded all there cards.
