I'm part German (15.7%), Scandinavian (3.1%), Balkan (1%) and a teensy bit Finnish (0.1% lol). I didn't know any of the last part. There are some others I didn't list, like Polish but I already knew that. I'm 15.8% "Broadly Northwestern European" which is "people as far west as Ireland, as far north as Norway, as far east as Finalnd and as far south as France." The technology should keep getting better. How far back can your family trace itself and can you rationalize a lot of what you received? Sorry, I just love this stuff. I've already done the Ancestry one, but wanted to see how this compared. At least it got the cool "beta" update, with the 17 additional regions and more accurate borders... So it's given me something. I don't have a family tree that we've created so it's really just telling me my ancestral make up and showing me some general facts about other people that I may be related to that have tested as well. And I'm not sure what you mean by how am I rationalizing what I've received.
