That rocks. I thought I messed up the phrase because "kneel for the cross" seemed too funny

Wasn't able to edit my comment on the last topic, but wanted to add that if I didn't already own Binding of Isaac I'd consider paying $40 for the Switch version, if you really want it on the Switch. It's a great game.

But yeah hard to justify that price tag when it's less than half that elsewhere. @Mead

Honestly I think we're pretty spoiled with game deals. I don't think I'd mind full-price stuff that much if not for the fact that crazy deals are just becoming the norm, so Nintendo's pricing really sticks out.

It doesn't even strike me as smart business sometimes, like why is Smash U still $60 with Ultimate on the horizon? Wouldn't they be better off at this point slashing it to clear as much stock as they can before people move on to the new one?

Game deals are bad for the industry too. The amount of labor and money that goes into these games is already way too much for a $60 game to be the result

I don't even understand how it got that way. I assume it's because Steam has so many deals, but how are those games able to afford going on sale? Is it because they have so much competition on there it's the only way to get noticed?

I'm at another comedy show for the comedy friend. It's their satirical country band. Here alone out of morbid curiosity. Friend A was hyped to see me, Friend B was so blitzed before the show I was surprised when he said my name. Overall, it should be extremely good and I will provide a full report

The Cardinals are unstoppable!

It's like Rocktober but instead it's Cardinaugust

It's based on salsa this time. Better get used to this new reality because they're gonna be talking about it in the playoffs too

The Rockies will beat the Cardinals in the NLDS (or the NLCS I don't know where they'd meet) to avenge their poor regular-season showing

They might have to throw down in the wild card game if this is gonna happen. Really though all the teams are so close that any outcome where those two face each other at any point in the playoffs is plausible

The Rockies winning their division seems more plausible than the Cards doing the same, but I could be wrong. I mean, I'm just basing that off current standings which is a very slim difference between the two anyways and if the Cards keep this up in September they could easily catch the Cubs.

I really do not want the wild card again. I guess I can't really complain if it's a second wild card since they wouldn't even be in at all the old way, but I have no confidence they'd win that game

The odds are long for both of them to win the division honestly, they've got two legitimate threats to win their divisions and they're not working with leads right now. The Cards can't keep this up, unless they can of course

Well I hope at least one of them can make it cause they are the only hope for sports topic teams. I'm not sure we ever had a season where nobody's team made the playoffs
