What did those shows do right that their other shows did wrong?

Referring to the Disney+ shows, not the whole of Marvel TV so anything not made by Marvel Studios, like Daredevil or Agents of SHIELD don't count for this topic.

They had characters already established before Endgame that people liked. The rest have pretty much been origin stories and origin stories are kind of boring at this point because they don't do much to establish much of the greater MCU.

I would say Ms. Marvel was good though I don't know how popular it was. Tying Ms. Marvel to the multiverse basically allowed them to have an origin story that also pushed the multiverse story of the MCU forward at the same time.

Loki is a legitimately good show with a well liked established character that lots of people actually wanted to see more of. It also debuts some new things that are important to the movies. I feel it very much earned it's spot at the top in Marvel show ratings.

WandaVision had the virtue of being first, having some actual connection to the main Marvel story at the time and is more than a generic superhero romp, which sadly it does turn into at some point. I actually didn't like it much, but it's not a bad show by any means.

What's most troubling is Falcon and Winter Soldier being so highly viewed and in 3rd place. It's just a drawn out movie and it would've been a bad movie too. I'd like to think it was just riding the coat tails of WV.

The entire origin of her powers was that she is the descendant of someone who came from another universe. Her ability to crystalize light is because of her ties to both universes.

Thought they made her a mutant.

Oh ok. I don't recall it saying her relative came from an alternate universe. I'll have to watch it again.

No, I'm talking about Ms. Marvel. Thought they more or less said she was born with her abilities in the show. I'm going by what I heard tho, I still haven't watched it. >_>

She's a mutant but I was under tge impression that her lineage being from another place was more along the lines of how Thor is not from here. I don't think they're from the multiverse

I was excited about the early Disney+ shows because they were dealing with either the aftermath of Endgame and/or the blip in different ways. WandaVision was a very character-specific look at this (though it jumped the shark by the end). Falcon and the Winter Soldier had a great opportunity to give us a more macro look at how the blip disrupted life on Earth, but it was trying to be four different shows at once. Loki was a look into the Multiverse from a villain's point of view.

The other series all felt like one-offs or origin stories (which may or may not eventually tie into this multiverse story) and had varying levels of success. I enjoyed Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk for what they were, but hated Moon Knight. Werewolf seemed like a complete waste of time

It was both. At the end, they established that she had a mutation caused by her Djinn heritage. Pretty sure they're setting her up as the first mutant threat, according to the government, in the MCU.

This. If you are going off critics ratings. Moon Knight has a 86% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

COVID definitely hurt Falcon and Winter Soldiers story. But I thought the show was successful?

Falcon and Winter Soldier was hurt by COVID, IIRC. They had to change the story last minute I think.

But the characters/actors definitely helped it. On social media it went viral and was so talked about. People were hyped for Sam and Bucky.

Loki is the best so far, by a lot.

Wandavision, F&WS, and Secret Invasion all though they could make the perpetrators of really evil acts seem sympathetic. No, I'm not going to feel bad for the mind-raper, the terrorist group, or the individuals planning genocide. Gross, stop doing that.

Hawkeye was OK, villains were lame.

With She-hulk, writing several episodes building to a bad ending will never be as good as building towards a good ending, regardless of how fun they think their lampshading moment is.

I'll be the one to say it, but almost all the MCU shows sucked for this simple fact, they all missed the landing with its finale, Secret Invasion being the biggest offender. I'm just waiting for the hopeful "Andor" for the Marvel television series to show up, but until they all been disapointments imo.
