Ah, here we go again. Am I the only one that remembered that "Sweet Tooth" is the name of a freakin' ice cream truck? The name of the clown driving it is "Needles Kane".

Ulti (in one of his Post-Contest Analyses): God of War turned a 5 hour deadlock into a total laugher Anagram: Oh God, Tidus and Yuna were involved?
Achilles Pool: 20 Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) 19 Tommy Oliver (Power Rangers) 16 Tracy Jordan (30 Rock) 14 Hiro Nakamura (Heroes) 3 Kratos (God Of War) -1 Spawn (Marcel Comics) -6 Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto) -14 Smitty the Drinker (Left 4 Dead 2) -23 John Cena (Pro Wrestling) -28 Leonard Hofstadter (The Big Bang Theory)
Zeus Pool: 34 King Arthur (Mythology) 14 Amaterasu (Okami) 9 Pikachu (Pokemon) 5 Mr. Spock (Star Trek)
0 Zelda (Zelda) 0 Archie Bunker (All in the Family)
-1 Shere Khan (The Jungle Book) -5 Mighty Mouse (Mighty Mouse) -22 Special Agent Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks) -34 Marv (Sin City)
Aphrodite Pool: 33 Darkwing Duck (Darkwing Duck) 9 David Xanatos (Gargoyles) 8 Nicholas D. Wolfwood (Trigun) 6 Vito Corleone (The Godfather) 5 Jecht (Final Fantasy X) -4 Wicked Witch of the West (Wizard of Oz) -12 Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal) -15 Cinderella (Cinderella) -15 Kaine (Nier) -15 Sophia Maguire (The Event)
Biggest Surprises: Where to begin? King Arthur went Excalibur on his opponents while Darkwing got dangerous all over his pool. Hiro and Tracey were the biggest surprises to me though. Characters from their shows have flopped in previous rounds but they prove they arent like their peers.
Biggest Letdowns: Wicked Witch of the West melting away from the contest surprised me. Archie mightve done better ten or twenty years ago, but Im afraid his greatness has been forgotten. At least he gets to duel Zelda, which should be a great match, seeing as how wonderful she is too. Since when did Marv get so much hate? Do people not know what Sin City is?

-5 Jeffrey The Dude Lebowski (The Big Labowski) -12 Phil Dunphy (Modern Family) -23 Lightsong (Warbreaker) -26 Byakuya Kuchiki (BLEACH)
Biggest Surprises: I know this contest is most excellent, but I didnt expect Ted to know that too. Piccolo worked unexpected wonders too.
Biggest Letdowns: Theres a lot of personal let downs in this round for me. The Dude got his rug pissed on, and that was not cool. I also expected Kenny and Tony Soprano to fare a bit better. Then Roy Mustang losing was lame too. Alas the board has spoken, and they all bite the dust in the first round.
PHIL!!! :( Dangit, man! More people need to watch Modern Family on this board. Surprised Sully didn't do better, either - he's one of the best Pixar characters, I think.
A lot of my favorites still survived, though, so I can't be too bummed. I'm worried about today, though! Some of the best TV characters ever are up right now - Tobias, Gloria and Turtle are all incredible. It'd be a shame to lose any of them.

Shotgun Pool: 20 Scar (Lion King) 13 Michelangelo (TMNT) 11 Blue/Gary (Pokemon) 10 Roger Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) 4 William 'Billy' Costigan (Departed) -8 Andrew Ryan (BioShock) -10 Prince of Persia (Prince of Persia) -10 Daggett Beaver (Angry Beavers) -14 Turtle (Entourage) -15 Bryan Mills (Taken)
Desert Eagle Pool: 22 Joker (DC Comics) 15 Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII) 2 Gloria Pritchett (Modern Family) 2 John Locke (Lost) 0 Arnold (Hey Arnold) -3 Il Duce (Boondock Saints) -3 Abed Nadir (Community) -6 Sosuke Sagara (Full Metal Panic) -6 Howl (Howl's Moving Castle) -23 CM Punk (WWE)
Magnum Pool: 24 Magneto (Marvel Comics) 13 Goofy (Disney) 3 Bilbo Baggins (The Hobbit) 1 Jack Donaghy (30 Rock) -1 Himura Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin) -2 Tobias Fünke (Arrested Development) -3 Dante (Devil May Cry) -3 Mewtwo (Pokemon) -10 Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) -22 Spider Jerusalem (Transmetropolitan)
Biggest Surprises: Cloud Strife outperforming Sephiroth by a wide margin is a surprise. Bilbo and Himura hang on by a thin thread. Two of these pools were extremely close throughout.
Biggest Letdowns: Tobias Funke is the second Arrested Development character to falter in a row while Abed is the second Community character in a row. But the biggest letdown is Mewtwo. All though there are few of them, Pokemon have fairing well in this contest and having the master psychic lose pitifully is most unexpected.
THE ONE F****** DAY I MISS CONTAINS THE ONE F****** CHARACTER I ENTER, AND MY VOTE WOULD HAVE MADE HIM NOT GET THE WORST SCORE IN HIS TIER.
I knew that was going to happen. I don't even know why I'm complaining. I saw it coming ten miles away.

Butterscotch Pool: 38 Luigi (Super Mario Bros.) 36 Dr. Doom (Marvel Comics) 23 M. Scotch Whiskey Pool: 28 Luke Skywalker (Star Wars) 19 Al Bundy (Married with Children) 14 The Doctor (Doctor Who) 11 The Black Knight (Monty Python) 1 Captain America (Marvel Comics) -1 Hiccup (How to Train Your Dragon) -2 Gollum (The Lord of the Rings) -12 Jeff Winger (Community) -14 Rupert Giles (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) -44 Hiroaki (G Senjou no Maou)
Biggest Surprises: A four way tie!! Damn! Michael Bluth does awesomely in his pool. Ed ONeils characters both make the cut (one much more convincingly) leaving Jay Pritchett to join his wife Gloria in the next round.
Biggest Letdowns: What many consider the Communitys greatest character accepts defeat with a -12! Its a safe bet to assume no one from the Community will make the next round. Meanwhile, Gollum loses his precious, Michael Westen gets burned, and Quagmire goes from +17 at one point to completely out of the tournament! Giggity.
These results are pretty much perfect. I think Michael Bluth might be my favorite fictional character ever, so I'm stoked to see him do so well; especially since Tobias and Buster disappointed.
Props to everyone who supported Jay, too!

Rooks Pool: 45 Scrooge McDuck (Disney) 39 Yoda (Star Wars) 20 Dr. Gregory House (House, M.D.) 16 Carl Friedricksen (Up) 11 Gordon Freeman (Half-Life) -18 Kirk Lazarus (Tropic Thunder) -23 Cameron Tucker (Modern Family) -23 Drizzt Do'Urden - Forgotten Realms -33 Kara Starbuck Thrace (Battlestar Galactica) -34 Gwen (Total Drama)

Knights Pool: 36 Severus Snape (Harry Potter) 26 Kermit the Frog (The Muppet Show) 18 Boba Fett (Star Wars) 11 Miles Edgeworth (Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney) 5 Alice (Alices Adventures in Wonderland) -3 Cobb (Inception) -4 Don Draper (Mad Men) -9 Superman (DC Comics) -23 Borat (Borat) -57 Brett Varner (Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice)
Biggest Surprises: Miles and Alice edging out Don, Cobb, and Superman. No big surprises other than that, save for maybe Jay Gatsby. Cheers to Severus and Miles for pulling out of large early holes.
Biggest Letdowns: The Knights pool was stacked. It had some characters in there that might have done a lot better in other pools. But when it comes down to it, Superman was never close to competing as he had negative votes all around from the gitgo and only caught up towards the end. Don was constantly around -10 for the most part. Cobb was the only one to challenge, but a few negative votes near the end sent him sprawling. Honestly, Supermans the biggest surprise to me, seeing as how everyone knows him. Kind of weird losing Wolvy and Supes (Marvel and DC posterboys) before the second round.

The tower of power, too sweet to be sour, oh yeah!
Holy crap, it looks like Jafar is going to make it really far in this. Dang!
Honestly, most of these results are pretty terrible. I'm glad Edgeworth managed to hang on, but aside from that, there isn't much to be happy about here. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at Cam's loss, but man, how did we lose Kirk Lazarus AND Cobb?!?

Damn, I've missed a lot of days. This one probably stings the most because there's so much that I likely would have changed. Pools 31-33 Results: Hopscotch Pool: 26 Tyler Durden (Fight Club) 25 Michael Bluth (Arrested Development) 17 Ariel (Little Mermaid)
-7 Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro) -7 Bobby Hill (King of the Hill) -7 Jason (Friday the 13th) -7 Clayton Bigsby (Chappelles Show)
-8 Michael Western (Burn Notice) -14 Jack O'Neill (Stargate SG-1) -18 Martian Manhunter (DC Comics)
Butterscotch Pool: 38 Luigi (Super Mario Bros.) 36 Dr. Doom (Marvel Comics) 23 M. Obviously, there's the four-way tie--no way Totoro goes out there, and in a pool that weak, Jason probably gets the nod due to being...one of the two that I'd give a zero to? And I think our eighth-place finisher would have probably been sixth due to being the other. Butterscotch Pool probably changes as well, with Glen Quagmire advancing in fifth place with a score of -1 and Jay Pritchett leaving with a score of -3. And Scotch Whiskey...actually, that's a strong enough pool on top, and a weak enough one on the bottom, that even with my usual disdain for anyone with Marvel or DC next to their name, Captain America probably still squeaks by with a score of 0, with Gollum exiting with a score of -1. If even; Hiccup's not really a character I know, either, so he'd actually get the -2 and the Cap would get a -0. So...still.
A lot of unfortunate results here.

Biggest Surprises: Spike Speigel carried his own. However, Looney Tunes is running away with this competition as of late. Bugs Bunny ftw?
Biggest Letdowns: Ugh. Randy Marsh. Hate to see him go too. Best SP had to offer imo. HIMYM gets annihilated big time and Frodo is eliminated with the last vote of the round!
