No, what I'm saying is you can't even start the timer for rosters until you roll the customs. That's the way it's always worked, because depending on what custom people get they could be more/less useful on the active roster.

The way it works is if you Bormina at any point you auto-Bormina for all future steps. Meaning you get random roster and terrain is defaulted to neutral. I know because this has happened to me at least once <_<

But yeah, numbers should be able to see your customs before roster bormina happens to him.

You split off from the Wang timeline, which has repeatedly proven to be the way I've just stated it. When HGR took over the alpha timeline he even specifically came out to say he was doing it the way you propose now. Since you didn't previously state your intention to change to the HGR logic, and you branched off from Wang, you are stuck in his precedents until otherwise stated.

And uh no FFD it's worked this way since before the timelines split off. I bormina'd in one of my matches with Semi, and I know it wasn't the battle royal one. I believe it was the fight on day 56. I remember because I had Bison throw Garner's dad's head at him and Bison wasn't rostered because of Bormina so it didn't go off. Tira had already kidnapped Tsung (if only I'd continued to keep track of Tira's kidnapping logs I could've told you what day it was with certainty) Semi's team shouldn't have got a vote in that one!

If, after 24 hours, nothing's been decided then a little fella known as Bormina will come along and finish stuff for them: No rechargables will be used, no terrain picked.

That's not really too ambiguous to me.

And I know what the rules say, but I also know how we've done things for 60+ days. When HGR took over the alpha he made it a point to change things back to how they were written in the rules, because we hadn't been following them since Day 1. I've literally made a business out of doing some abilities and then idling out my timer for like thirty 'days' now, so I'm well versed in how each timeline handles things like Bormina. I even double checked with Wang upon staying in this timeline that he was still running things from the status quo of the original timeline, so I'm even that much sure I'm right here. Like I said before, I may be an ass but I still have my honor. I'm not going to lie to you here.

So like I said, feel free to continue on, but when it's shown that you are in the wrong here I want us to resume things from this point.

I'm just saying it's worked that way twice (at least!) against me. I'm pretty experienced with that Bormina guy!

So I'll only overturn it unless he (or you) cite a specific case of it working the other way-- though I'll need to confirm it. If Wang doesn't know how the rules work well it wouldn't be the first time.

But I specifically remember being "screwed" vs Semi pre round robin so that doesn't work. Even if HGR thought he was changing something precedent says he wasn't unless there's more precedent the other way.

Alright so... from Dracula's m2 wiki:

Once rosters are selected Dracula will place an offer to you first and your opponent second: Join him. Joining him gives you control of the team: giving you access to rechargables from your mercs, letting the infra exchange occur with you as the leader, and you may distribute the EXP earned by your fighters freely, though not of your opponents, that's still under Dracula's control. In order to do this however Dracula requires that you sacrifice one of your remaining mercs, with varying conditions:

If you sacrifice a merc with 2 upkeep or less (including random joiners) he will consider you worthless, injure the runt, and both he and the mercs he took from your team will refuse to fight for you the next day (counts as a non-blockable self-KO). PS - You suck.

If you sacrifice a merc with 3 or 4 upkeep, he will consider them a decent sacrifice for himself, and they will promptly be KO'd and injured. You're alright.

If, however, you offer a sacrifice of a merc of 5 or more, not only will he consider it a great sacrifice, but he will transform that merc into a vampire with full control of themselves, turning them to the Undead class, giving them superhuman senses and capabilities, letting them transform into a bat, mist, or a wolf, as well as giving them free flight. You can of course, choose to refuse him instead. Doing so has no effect to your team, save for the match and the rules otherwise in place. Your opponent however may choose to sacrifice a fighter of their own in order to join him, although their breakdown is a simpler one: If they give him someone with 3 upkeep or less, the merc will be KO'd and injured and the leader will be able to distribute the EXP of their mercs on Dracula's team in addition to their own (unlike his leader). If they give him someone with 4 upkeep or more, they will assume control of the team. However, should both you and your opponent want control, Dracula will favor you instead as you are ultimately his master... for now. Dracula won't forsake them however, and not only will they still have control of their EXP on Dracula's team as well as their own, but the sacrificed merc will be dead during Peacetime (meaning, away from it all, revival be damned) and suddenly come back to life once Wartime begins, only of the Undead class. Dracula gave them a little bit of his power - improving their senses as well as giving them an increase in speed, stamina, and strength, in full control as well. Unfortunately for them, the following day will result in their bodies resisting the unpure change and it will be as if they had a nasty case of the flu. They will return to normal afterwards.

Numbers: Dracula offers you the ability to sacrifice one of your mercs.

So uh what that will do I guess is make Death's ability resolve, and you get credit for the win if Dracula's team wins? Diablo won't shoot lasers or be sane though since the other two abilities were pre-battle.

are you sure about this?

in one of my wartimes in the alpha timeline, I borima'd and then later had the terrain default to neutral within five minutes after the opponent declared rosters - meaning it was a full wartime borima and not a "phase" borima.
