well...my post on 'ask the mods' wasa general question...I didnt ask specifically about a certain moderation. obviously you are ok with the rules as long as you dont have to follow them
how is that a lie? you have my permission to repost the original topic message from 'ask the mods'. all I asked was a hypothetical question about the interpretation of the 'illegal activities' part of the ToS. at no point did I mention I had been modded or even allude to a specific question about my moderation.
yeah...but I didnt ask about the specific moderation...I see general questions on that board about moderations all the time. If you hadnt taken the extra time to look at my mod history and just answered the question like a reasonable person it could have been resolved just as easily. Instead you wait 7 days and moderate the topic to cover up your own mistake of giving away unsolicited information about my mod history...great job.
No mistake was made. I was nice enough to not moderate you even though it was extremely obvious that your topic was about your moderation. As you complained about my act of kindness, that clearly means that you prefer being moderated.
if that thinly veiled excuse is grounds for obvious corruption then ok...but I dont consider it an 'act of kindness' to violate the ethics of your position by revealing my mod history...if that is your position you should moderate all the topics with questions about potential moderations...mine didnt refer to any moderation as it was a general question.
if 'calling me out' includes not posting said topic (which you modded when I called you out for violating your code of ethics) then consider me called out. otherwise you should post my topic (that didnt mention anything about me getting modded). mmkay?
I just watched that movie The Thing (Starring Kurt Russell and the old dude who says diabetus on TV in those commercials) earlier today and something occured to me...

I've just realized that the alien creature(s) in that movie are actually "obvious" or "blatant." That's why the mods operate as they do. Everything has been absorbed and replaced by "obvious" or "blatant." There is nothing, not a circumstance, not a context, not a detail, angle or intent that is NOT, at this very moment (or any other moment) "obvious" or "blatant," now synonymous with "everything."
It's over, and all has been lost. If only "obvious" or "blatant" had been left frozen in Antarctica and not thawed out by some Norwegians... all of us would not be "obvious" or "blatant" in every possible way...

You got moderated for a topic about doing shrooms. Your argument was that it's not illegal in your area. You then made a topic on Ask the Mods asking how illegal activities moderations are handled for stuff that's not illegal everywhere. You (rather obviously falsely) stated that your AtM topic was purely hypothetical, when it was extremely obvious that you were lying.
As I said before, don't lie and you won't get called on it. Your preference was that your off-topic thread on AtM where you blatantly ignored the sticky topic be deleted, and I acquiesced to your request. As I said before, I live to serve. :

Yeah, Raptor is the good guy here. Mods are allowed to share the mod history of users and do it frequently. You may dislike this or think that it violates the "mod code of ethics," but that doesn't mean Raptor sharing the information is a "mistake."

We aren't required to delete every moddable post we see when browsing the board. Raptor left it unmodded, but you decided that you wanted to argue about the ToU so Raptor enforced it more strictly.

My issue with moderators isn't that they over-mod everything and care more about deleting things and exerting their power than actually trying to make the board a better place to browse. That's stuff's common.
It's that they are so obsessed with being "right" or being the "hand of Justice" or something like that. Why can't they be like every other board and be blatantly abusive? Just admit that you're deleting **** because you can, you don't need some BS excuse about how it's actually against the ToS. There is literally no punishment for you abusing your power. It took a mod two months of pure mod abuse for people to even begin to question his position as a moderator. Two entire months where he just suspended the **** out of anyone he wanted,
