Well I'd figured out that much from this topic I guess. I don't see why anyone would be surprised no one had heard of them, soccer isn't exactly popular in the US. Or women's sports either for that matter.

Soccer is getting more popular and the women's world cup final had the highest amount of tweets per second of anything ever (more than OBL's death or the royal wedding) plus it has been plastered on espn for a while now. So really most people know who they are.
