I like Bradley, I really do, but some of his decisions during the last World Cup were beyond questionable. I have no doubt in my mind that Klinsmann will do fantastic with the talent that we have. I would wager that we'll be able to advance out of just about any group in the next World Cup!
Did they already hire Klinsmann? I sorta take issue with hiring a foreigner to coach the Mens National Team. Nothing against any other nationality, i just think that an American should coach the USA Team just like a Mexican should coach the Mexican Team and a Germany should coach the German team, etc...

Yeah if what I read is true, Klinsmann's the man.
It's a little weird, but managing a football team is a job like any other. Can't really make it region specific, and honestly this is the best choice for the US football team.

That'd be fine, if any American coaches knew what they were doing.
For example, did you know Bradley was considered an upgrade to someone?
This seems impossible, but yes, Arena was in the Sisqo tier of coaches

From: SBell0105 | #016 and am i hearing correctly that Klinsman had a horrible year as a coach of a German club team and now he can't find work in Germany?
no, you are not.
he had a fantastic year, lost to Barca in the CL quarters, fought with upper management, and was fired. He left Germany with a pretty bitter taste in his mouth.
Bradley was a terrible coach to have for a national team with any ambition. Removing was the correct move, and should have been done before the Gold Cup.
And you have to recognize the incredible luck it took to make it out of the group in the Confederations Cup, and the fact we only won 1 game in this last World Cup
And that in the last 2 Gold Cup Finals we've lost to Mexico by a combined 9-2
I always thought USA's football team would stay stagnant (good but not good enough) for the foreseeable future and USA will just be satisfied with Bradley. He is after all, the guy who took USA from mediocrity to mid card status. Dominated the Gold Cup along with Mexico, respectable showings in the World Cup (read beyond the first knockout round) with the talent he has.
Now Klinnsman is in the house. But I personally am having a hard time seeing Klinnsman doing any better, given that I have spotting any exciting young American talent. Could be just me though for the young American talent though, given that I don't watch the MLS.
From: the icon ownz all | #022 if you're down by a goal through no fault of your keeper, and you only have one substitution left, you don't use it on pulling Howard.
Howard was HORRIBLE that game. I am not a soccer expert but i watched Howard Chase the ball TWICE and both times it led to Goals. Don't get me wrong, I really really like Howard but perhaps he shouldn't have played that game at all.
