Well, one of my friends gather a couple of us he knew from high school to play Bang. When I was there, I saw this really cute girl! She was like super nerdy and stuff before, so it really came as a shock to me. Well, I talked to my friend about it, and he said he'd be willing to help me(like arrange time to hang out with her and stuff of that sort), but also told me that one of the brahs that were there that night liked her.

If you aren't close with him, then he is not your bro. He may be the bro of tomorrow, but right now, he isn't your bro. Having a bro who isn't close to you is like being a married bachelor. So you have no reason to feel guilty.
