This is pretty much my first jRPG. So i'll need your help B8.
THERE WILL BE SPOILERS

So the opening cutscene is pretty cool. But than the game throws in me into a battle without a tutorial. Then another cutscene and battle with the giant machine thingy. Cutscene than boom, into open world. I couldn't even figure out how to get to the menu. Little tutorial would have been nice, srsly guys. One more battle than a short tutorial on rings. Than i run in a striaght line and press a in nooks. Funnn. Running into boxes!

And finally a save point. Like taking candy from a baby.

You don't really need to worry about getting all items in this game, since you can actually get them back later at
*spoilers*

the auction house, however watch out for the spells Shieldus and Barricadus. If you don't get them the first chance you get or later at the shop, you will permanently miss them.

Make sure you find every Dream.

They're easily the best thing about the game. Don't be ashamed to use a guide to find them.

I have to say i'm about to play again (as soon as the phillies finish) but it hasn't appealed to me a ton so far. I have 6 days to return it though.

Seriously you could have picked a MUCH worse game to jRPG than Lost Odyssey, breathe, keep it up and enjoy.


And make sure to level well, the real boss is a real asskicker.
