Woodford is awesome...official bourbon of the kentucky derby...I love makers as well but my favorite bourbon is Basil Haydens...if you havent tried it you must do so.

Basil is the nectar of gods, it is just a little pricey. when drinking bourbon I normally stick with jim, makers or even benchmark (best cheap bourbon I have found). if it is a special occasion I will do basil, knob creek or even bookers (the bookers is super smooth for its proof, but still a sipping bourbon only). The only one I really detest is wild turkey and I dont like jack (it isnt a bourbon but it is popular for some reason)

well I worked at a liquor store for 2 years in college (the owners were awesome, always giving something free to try) so I am familiar with most major wine and spirits. cool you know your stuff too, always good to converse with someone knowledgeable about liquor.

I was given peach schnapps for my birthday. Fuzzy navels are delicious.

Besides that it's cheap wine (ALDI has some surprisingly decent quality wine bottles for under $10) or straight liquor that I tend to drink most often. I just turned 21 a few weeks ago, so I'm eager to try more drinks besides what I could manage to get from friends.

I'm currently working on a bottle of The Balvenie 12 year double cask. I'm basically working my way through the liquor store selection of single-malts, before I decide which one I'll probably be on for life. I've always got Jonnie Black on standby too, for guests who may not appreciate the intricacies of an aged single-malt.

It's not that I haven't tried; I've had tons of different alcoholic drinks, be they straight, mixtures, etc...alcohol just starts up my gag reflex instantly. Hell, even thinking about it kind of does.

Indeed. I go for Hairy Navels though, because vodka makes it so much better.

Though most people suggest pretty lol-worthy proportions where you have a ton of orange juice and not much liquer. I just do 1/3 peach schnapps, 1/3 vodka, and 1/3 orange juice.
