WarThaNemesis2 posted... On the other hand, TWEWY only got 58% on GTA4, so that may as well be a loss.
Oh yeah, failing to break 60% on GTA is more or less the equivalent of a loss, right. (whether or not this is sarcastic, I don't know!)
As for further irony, the two games that are still undefeated just so happen to be the two games I finished for the first time while this very contest was going on. What a wonderful, whacky coincidence.

That's what I just said.
So what you're saying is that classless media whore R/B/Y ran up the score on FFVI and Galaxy 2!
Well, if you can do that when you're actually facing a good opponent, why shouldn't you? Running up the score on cupcakes is classless; running up the score on quality opponents is proving that you're just plain better. Or something like that.

It's still not classless, just poor strategy (if a team is way up it should play conservatively to minimize the chances of a comeback and especially of injury to its own players).
Running up the score in NCAA Football (and somewhat in basketball) is not classless, because your ranking is determined partially by what humans think of you, and blowouts do wonders. I would say it's classes in a professional league, where the only thing at stake is an individual win. Nothing is added if you win by 2 touchdowns or 6 touchdowns.

From: muddersmilk | #160 Wasn't there someone in the NCAA characters contest like that? Someone who just got basically the same number of votes no matter who they faced.
You are remembering the almighty JAKE PERIL!

I didn't know you meant that so literally about talking about matches before they're posted. There's a big difference between discussing a match that is almost over, and the winner is a sure thing, as opposed to a match that's far from over. My apologies, Leonhart.

"Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. So...what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think."
I don't know about you guys but I can easily not talk about a match until results have been posted. Even then, I usually only comment on MVP Baseball 2005 matches

Lol Phoenix Wright 3 for struggling to break 63% on an opponent with only two victories. This here must be proof for Tsunami's Capcom rSFF Phoenix Wright theory.

Well, I (we) thought OOT was a top 10 game back then. Although, the point stands- you shouldn't expect a 20-25 game to beat top 15 games, and they're going to lose half the time against other 20-25 games.

I'd go with something higher, maybe 75%. I know this is board 8 so people (claim) to have played all the obscure games, but seriously.
LOL. Yeah, though to be sure, we need to see how PW3 does when it goes back to facing non-Capcom competition. It could just be getting generally weaker.

My best friend plays WoW. Even when we are supposed to hang out all he wants to do is play WoW. So I end up watching something on TV or playing something on his 360.
I've also been left sitting at his door for 10-20 minutes in the snow because he was in a raid or something and couldn't leave his computer for the 2 minutes it would take to let me in.
Those are just a couple of the reasons.
