Ego is a living planet, with total control of his own mass down to the molecular level. Ego has shown the ability to increase his own temperature in order to destroy creatures on or inside of him, to create 'anti-bodies' of sorts to eliminate beings that resist absorption, and possesses massive telepathic and psionic abilities capable of shattering planets.

Lord Foul was supposed to be the anti-Touhou character, right?

I don't know if it was Touhou but I definitely remember there was some set of characters with stupidly undefined abilities that he seemed to counter pretty well, although the main reason behind me always nominating him is just being a fan of the books and thinking he's an ideal character for this - he has interesting abilities that can create cool match ups, but I can still see how he could be defeated without getting into any of the vague **** we used to run into where a character would be "immune to normal weapons" where "normal" was defined, depending on the person arguing, as anything from "not magic" to "Ganon immune to everything but the Master Sword yay I win because you're not from the same continuity".

1. Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunally)

A brilliant strategist, Lelouch's special Geass ability gives him access to an suit of armor that enhances all of his natural physical abilities. He can dodge, fight and keep up with mobile suits and can usually run circles around them. Lelouch is seen outright destroying many robots and also using his special DOM system to disable any electronic devices or vehicles surrounding him (which includes giant robots). He has strong telekinesis, able to stop attacks like an array of projectiles 360 degrees around him that are traveling faster than the speed of sound.

Lelouch takes very little damage from any enemy he faces, things from being punched by robots to being shot by weapons (from hand guns to giant lasers) do nearly nothing. The armor's cape can act as an additional shield and can be used as a weapon as well. Lelouch can summon his robot, Gawain, at any time. This robot is the same as the one seen in Code Geass, it has a wide variety of laser attacks and can fly as well.

Why would you give him Gawain? R2 Lelouch is hands down the more powerful and so is Shinkiro. Though I honestly think he would be better off without his mech most the time.

4) Jesse Custer (Preacher)

Jesse Custer is a Texan preacher, bonded with a heavenly creature named Genesis. Jesse possesses the Word of God, which forces any creature that hears his voice and understands him to obey him without fail. There is no apparent way to resist the Word once it it is heard and understood. Jesse also possesses good hand to hand skills, capable of killing vampires with his bare hands.

1. Jack Noir (Homestuck)
Jack Noir is a character from the Homestuck storyline of MSPaint Adventures. He is an omnicidal, near-omnipotent doglike creature who wears sunglasses and weilds a katana. His powers and abilities come from the Black Queen's Ring, which he wears on his finger. This grants him wings, his sword, his omnipotent powers, and transforms him into his canine form.

His degree of omnipotence is demonstrated by his extremely destructive abilities, strength, speed, and ability to teleport instantly. He can also teleport other objects. Jack Noir prefers a direct style of combat, loves bloodshed, and hates most everthing else. His most powerful attack is an enormous flaming burst of green energy that is capable of destroying entire planets.

2. Vriska Serket (Homestuck)
Vriska Serket is a character from the Homestuck storyline in MSPaint Adventures. Vriska is a Troll, a race of battle-oriented aliens, and is generally ruthless when in combat with an opponent. As the Thief of Light, Vriska possesses the ability to control all of the luck and bend it to her will, as well as steal luck from her opponents. Her weapon is the Fluorite Octet, a set of eight dice with eight sides each. Each value of the dice roll corresponds to a different attack, but because of her luck abilities she will always roll the highest possible roll, a 64. This casts the spell Ancestral Awakening, granting Vriska a pirate outfit and cutlass belonging to her ancestor, along with endowing her with brute strength, speed, and stamina at least on par with that of the story's near-omipotent antagonist.

3. Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern (DC Comics)
I won't do a writeup, but for the era, the most recent and most definitive run is the Geoff Johns era from 2004 and onward. That's a bit more than five years but the same writer has been essentially in charge of the character since then and he's been portrayed pretty consistently since then, with any power increase at reasonable levels. If that's still a problem, you can easily just take the last five years of his history and use that. It shouldn't change much.

Also, that writeup underrates Jack quite a bit. On raw power, he's a uniiverse-buster, he just can't hit that hard in most cases without killing himself in the process because he...lives inside the universe. His toughness is much lower of course.

He doesn't have to activate his Geass and his mech is a vastly improved version of Gawain. I certainly wouldn't say Nightmare of Nunally Lelouch was stronger.

True. I was just going by the stuff he's done so far in the story. More might happen if an update actually gets posted between now and his first match! Now that I think about it, he could definitely destroy an entire universe if he felt like it (and probably will), but doesn't. Plus, he much prefers the more personal, direct method of killing. That much is obvious,at the very least.

I guess I can edit it a little, or you can, if you have a specific change in mind.

Nah, I just mentioned it since the shot of Jack standing outside Bilious Slick and powering up the Queen's Ring to smoke it right as the Critical Event happened came to mind. The writeup's pretty good, it's just something that could be mentioned in passing as something he can do with caveats IMO.

Daylight hurts him but not any other sort of light at first. Later on he becomes weaker in the presence of ALL lights because the game was so awesome they ported its concepts into the comic (yes, really).

I just realized that Nightmare of Nunally isn't the first anime season. Where does it fall in the timeline? I guess I didn't realize there were any major differences between the anime and the manga.

NoN is a side-story manga that basically takes place in an alternate universe. Its story runs the whole series, but the characters/abilities/robots are all different.

This is a cute and pop genocide of love!

Let's see, I have some scans from the manga to show people how Lelouch is in the manga

This is during the second big battle for Zero and his team. Zero and a handful of extra guys takes out 60% of the enemy's robot forces. These robots are destroyed, not just disabled. You see Zero taking out a couple of guys in the first scan. Two high-ranking generals of the enemy army then charge at Zero. Zero dodges these attacks and uses his DOM system and his cape attack to disable the two robots. The last scan show Zero taking out the highest-ranking officer and her robot by disabling it at a distance.





This is Zero fighting the Lancelot, probably the best or second-best robot in the manga. The Lancelot kicks Zero in the stomach and send him flying into a ruined building in the distance. Zero takes practically no damage from the attack. Zero's cape attack is also seen in better detail; it sends out large tendrils that can slice through robots.





These scans show Zero dodging the Lancelot and getting behind the robot faster than the pilot can see.



Zero can use his powers to do telekinesis as well. This scene is from a later fight in the manga. The enemy fires missiles that shoot out large balls in all directions at faster than the speed of sound. Zero easily stops all these balls (although we can't see all around him we can assume he stopped them all since he doesn't get hit). He then proceeds to almost teleport behind the enemy and shoot the balls back at her at what looks like the same speed.




Zero is shown to be bulletproof from ordinary weapons...


.... as well as from huge robot guns.

This is the only time Zero is shown to even be slightly "hurt". Zero's enemy has the ability to freeze anything, even time. Zero's hand is frozen, and the enemy shoots him point blank with a gun mounted on his robot's arm. Zero is unaffected by this attack and in the next scene, his hand is perfectly fine.


Zero can summon his robot, Gawain, simply out by saying its name. This is explained as a quantum shift, an ability both Zero and his brother are shown doing.


One of Gawain's attacks, a giant laser that comes out from one of the robot's shoulders (both shoulders can shoot this laser). Gawain can also fly. This Gawain (and really, every robot in NoN save for the new ones) appears identical to the Gawain in the anime, so anything the anime Gawain could do this Gawain should be able to do as well.

Arma (Sacred Seven)
Has super strength, an arm cannon, a hoverboard, super speed, can move through objects. Also he can use his scarf to grab things or transform it into a sword. There's more but this is off the top of my head, if he gets in I'll find the rest.
Night (Sacred Seven)
Can fly, summon giant snakelike monsters, can change the form of objects, more moving through objects. See above.

Sacred Seven is available for free, legal streaming in the US and Canada so feats are easily verifiable for both these characters.

Homura (Madoka)
Fights by freezing time and setting up massive arrays of weaponry to fire the moment it unfreezes. Basically watch ep 11 and you're set here.

Would Joey get Heroman as well if I nommed him? He controls Heroman with the device on his arm but also has a couple tricks of his own.

What's the rule on character with multiple versions of themselves from the same game? I'm talking about like the main characters from recent WRPGs like Mass Effect and Dragon Age etc. Would they even be allowed, and if so how would the "allowed" version be determined? Unless you wanted to go with a more open writeup, where people could argue which moveset is best in-battle, but I'm guessing that's not it.

Spoiler warning. Also, I feel like I'm not truly giving these people hope they deserve.

1. Kurou Daijuji (Demonbane)
I don't know if this character would be allowed or not.

2. Yuki Nagato (TMoHS)
Yuki Nagato is a fictional character in the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise. She is initially portrayed as an introverted, taciturn bibliophile. She is actually an artificial human created by the Data Integration Thought Entity, and possesses supernatural powers as a result. She never officially joins Haruhi Suzumiya's SOS Brigade, but observes and takes part in club activities on the behalf of the Entity while still being the only member of the Literary Club. In addition, she is present to ensure that Haruhi does not use her godlike powers, and aids the other Brigade members in stopping forces that cause her to do so.

3. Accelerator (A Certain Magical index)
Accelerator is the most powerful Psychic in Academy City. His real name is unknown, though Accelerator recalls his surname was composed of two characters and his given name consisted of three characters. A sadistic boy about the same age as Touma. His ability is reflect or control any vector he touches including motion, heat, electricity, blood flow, wind and ultraviolet radiation (resulting in his albino appearance). Accelerator's unique ability make him the subject of an experiment attempting to create the first Level 6 psychic; according to the city's best supercomputer, Tree Diagram (which was unprecedentedly destroyed by Index's Dragon Breath), this feat could only be achieved by killing 128 skilled Level 5 psychics without a single failure. Since there are only six other known Level 5s in Academy City, an alternative plan was formed to "level up" Accelerator by having him kill 20,000 skilled Level 3 psychics: the Misaka clones. He willingly joins the experiment to gain a reputation as the most powerful and feared psychic that no one would be foolish enough to challenge and even killed many who got in his way. In the aftermath of the incident, Accelerator is shot in the head by Ao Amai, damaging his brain and losting his ability. Accelerator recovers his ability in the eight novel by compensating the lost parts of his brain with a choker-type electrode conected to the Misaka Network, but the battery of the electrode can only allow him to use his ability for 15 minutes and he is forced to use a cane. Toward the end of volume 13, Accelerator begins to "awaken" after nearly being killed by Amata Kihara and truly "awakens" in volume 15, gaining Black Wings, when fighting another "awakened" level 5, Teitoku Kakine showing he no longers needs to touch in order to use his powers.

basically the female version of Ice King from another universe. She shares his abilities and seems to have some more tricks of her own. She is way more evil and crueler than Ice King using way more aggressive tactics (where Ice King would sneak through a window to confront a princess Ice Queen chucks a glacier / giant ice spear and smash / impale the building) She has the ability to fly (where Ice King uses his beard she uses her lightning shaped eyebrows) and has other magical items.

Her main magical item is her tiara / crown which she forged using stolen magic. This gives her complete and utter control of all ice / cold / snow as well as giving her high mental resistance / immunity to mental shenanigans (it was stated that Ice Kings crown protected him from Lich Kings hax mental shenanigans). These ice abilities can be used to perform a variety of attacks / moves including summoning snow / ice constructs shooting icy lightning from her hands, flash freezing her opponents, summoning large ice mountain spikes, creating snow storms / causing snowfall to happen, summoning ice spikes from the ground creating ice dome shields etc (manipulating water in the air to also create shields etc). She has also shown that she can do a "Slush Beast" style mode (seemed to protect her from some damage and causing a mist / cover upon explosion / destruction) and shapeshift (or at least put on a very very very very convincing costume in like a second lol). She can also manipulate any ice in the area telekinetically.

She also has the "Wizard Eyes" which allows her to see things that others can not (as well as crazy crazy crazy in her face all the time)

Another extension of her powers is Fridjitzu but she apparently keeps this use mostly a secret and rarely uses it in battle (not saying she won't because as stated she is way more aggressive than Ice King and most likely to use whatever shes got)
