A civil war within the EU is a very distant possibility, but a World War? No.
The rest of the world all has various economic entanglements with both sides, many of which we don't even know about. How much money has the Fed already loaned to Greece? We don't know. It could be enough to require us to take a side.

A war between EU countries would be almost as likely as a war between US states. At the very least the EU must be destroyed as the countries go to war.

Feasible as in I believed the current populations of the world could feasibly cope with one-another instead of more directly tearing one-another to shreds. Not feasible as in attainable.

I'm guessing this is the one case where the Queen would refuse royal assent.
Well, England not being part of the Euro means it presumably wouldn't be involved. I guess. I dunno, they aren't really being talked about much in all of this.

Uh, what I mean by "haven't done well" is "led to massive world wars"
Read the article, man. The PIIGS and France are basically demanding a unified Europe, while the Germans and a few others are doing their best to say "Over our dead bodies" without actually SAYING that because they understand what the implication of saying that would be.

Southern Europe is in no position to force Northern Europe to unite with them. They're weaker economically and militarily (well technically France > Germany in military right now but, um.......it's France and Germany, we all saw what happened the last 3 times). Besides, European countries currently really really don't want war, and would do a lot to avoid it.
Considering how well the last two went, I have to imagine Europe (France and Germany, in particular) would do literally everything in their power to avoid another mass war on that continent.

Globalization and increasingly powerful weapons of war make war itself (in the sense of a conflict between nations) seem increasingly irrelevant and undesirable. Just my five cents.

It's not just that "other countries kinda want a united Europe and will be bummed if it doesn't happen." These other countries are telling their citizens that the lack of a united Europe is responsible for their recessions, unemployment, debt crises, and in some of them, riots in the streets. The narrative has changed. Greece is no longer in a bad situation because they lived well beyond their means, cheated on their taxes, elected corrupt politicians, and committed fraud to the ECB. No, it's those EVIL SELFISH GERMANS who REFUSE to bail them out and if only there was a united Europe we could MAKE them do it!!!
This is a lot more dangerous than you give it credit for.

The only options are A) the Eurozone countries agree to hand over fiscal powers to a supra-national body so this mess can be dealt with and can never happen again or B) the Eurozone countries default on their sovereign debt, forcing them to exit the Euro, causing huge worldwide economic instability and probably a prolonged depression (plenty of right-wing politicians and economists are desperate for this not to happen and actively attempting to persuade European governments to agree to A, including the UK's Chancellor George Osborne.
