Looking like my first HC Boris run is going to be nine days unless I have really good luck with the three remaining battlefield quests/Naughty Sorceress. Should mean 5 runs minimum, most likely six if the wiki's end date is correct, with a shot at seven. Going to plan what skills I want to SC perm now, might as well post them so someone can tell me if I'm doing something incredibly stupid that I missed.

After which I'll probably move on to a softcore run (probably as a Turtle Tamer, Seal Clubber if I get 7 ascensions), and do some of the after game stuff I've never done before, followed by softcore whatever the next seasonal pass is to start HC perming skills.

2nd Boris run is going to be an eight dayer, just like my previous run. Kinda disappointing how similar my second run ended up being, considering how much better the start was (got to level 6 on day one, was still level 6 at the end of turn two on my first run), but a combination of awful RNG, and careless decisions (wasted a bunch of clovers on fruit bowls because I forgot to equip the hippy disguise, missed about half of my semi-rares, neglected to make a meat maid, and probably other things I'm forgetting) ruined me. My biggest problem was with the level 12 quest. I might have ascended today if I hadn't wasted roughly 100 turns on the goddamn beach. I managed to get through it relatively smoothly in my first run (~40 turns?), but I never, ever want to risk something like that happening again. Found a calculator, seems like doing just the first four quests would be optimal (barring wasting semi-rares on inhalers), but skipping the beach and fighting dooks instead would only cost 8 turns more on average, without the risk of being RNG screwed. At least I'll have song of battle on run 4.

Random question: Those ascension logs people sometimes post are a greasemonkey thing, and not something you can find without add-ons, right?

Should be a 6 day run this time, barring some awful RNG luck with the NS, hopefully with enough turns left over to hit level 15 and get Smooth Movement/Superhuman Cocktail Crafting.

I'm determined not to let KoL go by the wayside since getting into WoW again; WoW was what replaced KoL for me 5 years ago as well. I'm definitely chilling on speed ascending though. I'm currently on an AT run for Polka of Plenty and bought both the item and meat skills from the gnomad camp and am going to invest in aftercore this time. Meat farm up to 20 or so, then we'll see from there.

My fastest ascension ever by 139 turns and 4 days. <_<
My previous fastest was the run before this which was also an Avatar of Boris run.

Gonna be another 6 day, level 15 ascension I think. First time I've ended a day at the NS Castle, stopped at tower level 2. Trying to get a Pygmy Pigment took me a good 15 turns, (it's a 25% drop, why didn't I have this already?), spent 10 more (unsucessfully) looking for a disease, and I screwed up and took Tasty Tarts instead of distilled wine (cost me about 10 turns), so wasn't too far away from a 5 dayer. Next run, hopefully.

I could've done it faster, but I spend half the time meat farming. If i spent all my adventures in the stat gyms, I'd probably be level 30 by now.

Made it to the NS gate with all the 100% required items on day 4 this time, thanks to some nice battlefield luck (14 turn beach, 6 turn orchard). Couldn't come up with the handsomeness potion in the 12 turns I had left (If only I had gotten day one stomach <_<.), but it's a huge improvement over the rest of my runs either way.

I have 7 unused clovers. Wonder if I could have made it a 4 dayer if I had made better use of them. Guess it's a good thing I'm not relying on them considering they seem to have cut back clovers per day until you get the hermit script, though.

Looks like another 5 turn run. Made the brilliant move of taking pilsners instead of energy drinks (accidentally), then the even better move of using four of them day 1 (because I had no idea what I was doing with them.) Maybe next time!

If I can make this run, and the next run 4 turners, I'll ascend on the 15th, which the wiki has as the last day of the season. A third hardcore run started on that day should still get me the extra karma, right?
