I didn't feel like making different topics for these separate issues because that would just be SILLY. So I'm condensing it to one.
1) The MGS thing, l have the Essential Collection, and since the HD collection is coming out soon, I figured I no longer need the Essential Collection. But as it is my favorite series, I look at the cases of it and I can't bring myself to sell it... so try to convince me why I'm being stupid, or back up my sentimentality.
2) Then I need some shopping help. First of all, I need a mouse pad for a laser mouse that I use for my laptop. It doesn't work as smoothly on the couch or armrest surfaces, so I need a mousepad to lay on the armrest of my chair or the cushion of my couch, any suggestions on which would be the best for that? A regular 3 dollar mousepad or one a little more expensive that might work better with a laser mouse? I don't know.
3) If there's any cat experts here, I have two, one's middle aged and the other is still a kitten, but they both have the same issue when it comes to water, they don't seem to like drinking out of the regular cat bowls I have for them. They still do, but I just think they might prefer something else, any ideas?
Those are the main questions, I'd appreciate any help.
EXTRA CREDIT: I also need a table/desk/whatever to lay my laptop on, like right now I have an ottoman that I've been using, and it's worked okay, but I need something else, I don't know what exactly, but my back can't usually stand sitting forward too long, so I would like something that can be pulled close to me while I'm sitting back, so that the desk area will be over my lap without it actually being on my lap, you know what I mean? I know something like that exists but I can't for the life of me figure out what they might be called, etc.

Keep it. For collector's purposes.
Or give it to me. For collector's purposes.
As for the mouse, perhaps try an unused cutting board?

1.) Don't bother selling it as you won't get much anyway. Hold onto it like I will. 2.) No clue, sorry. 3.) As Santa pointed out, fountains are a great solution. Otherwise, try experimenting. Put the water in a regular bowl somewhere else and watch as the cats may just think they're slick and drink from it.

If I weren't on this godawful PS3 browser I'd poke around for whatever fountain it is that my old landlady had when I was staying with her. She had a pretty rocking one. I think it was only ~$12 and the cats absolutely loved it.

SantaRPG posted... I have no idea if a cat fountain even exists.
I just left my bath tub on just enough that a tiny stream would come out, my cat loved that.
lolwut
I thought we were talking about the bowls with the hook-up for spare water when you go on trips. Those have been classified as 'water fountains' by cat-lovers the world over. Many cats have been found to absolutely love watching the water bubble up and shoot down to the bowl.
