Episode 1x01: The Tear

Bob comes from the net to this place...mainframe. To mend, and defend. To defend his new-found friends, their hopes and dreams. And to defend them from...their enemies. CUE HEROIC MUSIC

Oh no! We need you at Dot's! "Dot's is down. That's a new one."

...Enzo tackles Bob. Weird.

Bob is such a hero...lol little robot guys...AND FLOATING FRENCH CHEF SCREEN WITH BOWTIE. F*** YEAH REBOOT.

XD @ Megabyte's vidscreen appearing everywhere.

WARNING...INCOMING GAME.

Bob HAS TO GET INTO THE GAME. But Megabyte is blocking him off! He can't get into the game! And now he falls into the abyss BUT DOT SAVED HIM. The game "installs" itself in the city which looks like computer wires, which is awesome.

Game over. The user wins! Bob pwnt, and a little ambulance hovers over to where the game used to be.

Now Bob is getting advice from some long-necked guy. Apparently Megabyte is a very "clever" virus. He has bad file servers in almost every sector.

OK THAT'S F***ING GENIUS

"There is an old .readme file that says "you should keep your friends close and your enemies even closer."

F*** YEAH REBOOT.

Sage advice. "Here in mainframe, we stick together" Bob agrees OR DOES HE. HE GOES TO MEGABYTE'S PLACE BOB WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Bob reminds me of Deino, that Pokemon.

Bob throwing his chips in with MB, BAD IDEA. XD @ Dot and Enzo's over-shocked face.

Megabyte is the epitome of badass. Megabyte's fortress is amazing. Whoa his eyes turned black to open the big f*** off door to...umm...a big ball of what I'm going to call "funk" until further notice.

Oh, it's a tear. It leads to the supercomputer.

MB wants the tear stablized into a portal. Um, ok?

MB captures Bob and Bob escapes.

DAMN RED AND BLUE GUYS CAPTURED DOT, BOB KICKS A SCREEN INTO THE TEAR AND CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH THE TEAR AND RELEASES BOB, BOB AND DOT ESCAPE.

Red and Blue guys are officially called "hack and slash", this show is genius.

Megabyte chases them up the lift shaft! Such a badass

WARNING, INCOMING GAME, LET'S DO THIS. It drops right on top of them, which is good for MB because games can stablise tears I guess

The game is...uh...looks like a flight sim? Bob and Dot are standing on an aircraft-carrier style thing and the user bombs them! Mean user. MB, however, jumps on top of the user's plane! What is he planning?! HE TAKES OVER THE USER! He is now a megauser! He heads for the tear.

Bob and Dot get onto a plane....and yes this has now become a Star Wars parody. They are going through an asteroid field.

Bob lasers right through an asteroid like a bawss.

"Erase those meddlers following me" says MB, who is in command of a f***ing huge ship now. Bob, Dot and co. aim for the bridge and destroy the ship, and chase Megabyte through an arctic planet. They go through a cave, still chasing MB.

MB loops behind Bob, but Bob loops behind MB! MB latches onto Bob's plane and destroys it. Bob and Dot escape their ships before they crash but Bob gets hung up on the ceiling. He manages to turn it into a zipline and jumps into the portal while disengaging the game! The portal becomes a tear again, then Bob returns and the tear disappears entirely! Then Bob and Dot disappear too. MB is annoyed.

Show ends with badass floating French chef and the Diner inexplicably collpasing

Rating: 7/10

That was fun and I laughed a couple of times

Episode 1x02: Racing the Clock

Enzo is running a delivery service, for whatever reason. Hyped for a call, but it's actually for Dot's "data compression takeout", hard luck Enzo.

French cleaner lets Dot into the diner then slams the door in Bob's face LOL. Enzo pretends to be hyped about the service to Dot, but it isn't actually going very well. Later, Megabyte calls (f*** yeah Megabyte).

"Megabreath...I mean MEGABYTE?"

Enzo is a persuasive sales sprite. He has convinced MB to use him for ALL HIS DELIVERIES! Enzo you idiot don't-no he falls for it

Enzo says he'll tell Dot about this later. MB says Enzo has to take a package to Hexadecimal for him, but not tell her it was sent by MB. Meanwhile Bob and Dot fix a glitch and Enzo tells them about the order being for Hexadecimal and they are too slow to realise...yes, HEXADECIMAL, GUYS

They chase him outside. Bob x-rays the package and it's a mask with a clock.

Man these computer puns are too much. "I'll never be as successful as Dot. End of file. Log off."
"Oh compile up! Act your age."

Bob has to deliver the package instead.

...now Hexadecimal who is also badass...best villains. Hex makes her cat disappear through the floor, but she brings him back.

The cat taped Megabyte! The mask is a delete command DISGUISED as a mask...MB is so smart! Hexadecimal resolves to delete MB AND his delivery boy.

MB gets lost and crashes into a bomb...then drops through the floor...right into Hex's lair.

OH MAN BOB FINDS OUT MB SENT THE PACKAGE, HEX PUTS THE MASK ON BOB AND THROWS HIM

Bob flies towards Megabyte's place! uh oh! Enzo warns Dot.

Bob manages to stop himself with his rotor...and a game appears at a really inopportune time! Bob steers towards the game, and Dot/Enzo manage to squeeze into it too. And it's a race game!

"Looks like Formula 1...good thing we know the formula!" Bang

Bob starts horribly. Enzo and Dot get cars as well, and Enzo drives the wrong way xd

Bob takes the lead, but the user starts driving really aggressively and Bob spins out. All the cars avoid him.

Bob is in 18th place and activates Nito...the user activates a ramp! Just as Dot warns him that the car is a bomb, Dot hits the ramp and flies off. They advance to level 2, which has ramps and such.

The user starts leaving....mines behind. Bob slaloms through! Everyone else blows up :(

Dot avoids all the mines but hits one and they fly off. Bob and the user go to level 3, and the cars are now flying/looping....Enzo and Dot despair, but suddenly Dot has an idea. They reappear inside an oil tanker (seriously) and release the tanker on the track, causing Bob's and the user's car to crash into it as the clock on the mask strikes 0. Bob and Dot think he is dead, but he managed to escape just in time.

Not good, though. The explosion causes an infinite data loop, or something? Which expands and is causing bad things to happen to the game, so everyone starts running away. Stuff is getting sucked in! The game collapses into this loop and it disappears. Bob, Enzo, Dot and their robot buddies just about manage to survive!

At the end Megabyte fires Enzo, Enzo mocks disappointment. MB used hack and slash instead, but their delivery also failed, and it blows up. Megabyte screams at the two of them to end the show

Episode 1x03: The Quick and The Fed

Show opens in MB's lair.

They're erecting some huge machine...which shoots light into the sky and rips a whole into it! The power is apparently coming from a magnet. MB wants into the supercomputer, but Bob appears to stop him. MB says that Bob will be erased if he goes near the magnet, but Bob says **** the rules and does it anyway, then uses his glitch command thing to cut the magnet off. It collapses.

MB puts on his jumpy legs and starts climbing the magnet. He lunges at Bob, who dodges and escapes with a "later!"

Enzo tackles Bob when he walks into the diner. Again. "You royally kicked Megabyte's bitmap" oh man the puns are just too much.

"Enzo it's not good for business when you sit on the customers."

Cecil (the badass floating French...busboy, chef, w/e) takes time looking for a seat, then tells Bob to wait at the bar. Bob gets a drink, which is wearing shades, circles the bar and then flies out of the diner. Um, lol >_>

Bob takes out a magnet, everyone panics, but Bob says it is shielded. Everyone "phew"s

Bob lets Enzo try out glitch and produces a hammer, a flashlight and a jackhammer...which causes the magnet to fall off the table and unseal! It attaches to Dot. Uh oh. She shakes around a bit, Bob gets it off her but she faints.

"She's too young to end file, too young to quit without saving, it's all my fault" says Enzo

They get help from long-necked chinese program again. Dot needs to decelerate! She needs slow food. Dot is repeating all her words over and over because of her problem...Dot has to go to level 31 to get said "slow food".

Place is your typical "rough bar" except they're computer programs.

Bob needs the slow food now, but he is told to take a number...4096. They are now serving...#3.

Meanwhile, Megabyte has a "function" for Hack and Slash. MB wants his magnet back, so he sends them to find Bob. Meanwhile, Bob waits. He wants his food faster. Al only runs at 3 decahertz >_>

Hack and Slash appear! Bob says "give me food and I'll get rid of Hack and Slash", the guy at the bar agrees, so he takes the food and runs off. A chase starts BUT THEN A GAME APPEARS.

A screen appears, and Hack and Slash stop. Bob appears onscreen and says "you won't catch me before the game wall closes", Hack and Slash say "why"
"because you stopped."

BANG.

Bob makes it, Hack and Slash don't. MB groans. The game...is a medieval style thing. Seems the user is a white knight, and Dot is the damsel. A dragon appears which Bob gets on, and the user gets his own and chases him. XD, the guy iin charge of Bob's dragon is the slow chef. Uh oh. They collide midair, the white knight falls, and Bob gets into the castle. He takes a sword off a skeleton which wakes up and attacks him!

After a fight, the floor opens and Bob nearly falls in, but he dispatches the skeleton with a large vidwindow that says "WHAM" on it, go figure. Bob climbs the tower and the damsel...IS ENZO XFD Enzo is wearing a dress etc.

"That colour is you. Hey, why haven't you bowled me over yet?"
Turns out Enzo is being suspended in mid-air by the dress, so he couldn't run.

Dot is miraculously OK, as she crashes through the window fighting the user. After a brief fight, they win when Enzo throws his megaphone (which was maing him sound like Dot) and the knight falls out the window.

Turns out Dot and Al were partners in the slow-food business, so she just got a delivery. Bob pwnt. MB suddenly appears and takes Enzo hostage, but Bob throws the magnet in his face and he falls down to the bottom of mainframe.

1x04: The Medusa Bug

Stuff beeping, calculating.

Enzo and Dot are going for a break. Enzo convinces Dot to go without checking up her stuff.

Bob's car is actually running! Dot runs back into the diner to check out her s***, so Bob and Enzo pull her out by force.

Meanwhile, F***ING MEGABYTE. He has...THE MEDUSA. Everyone say "ooohhhhh".

"Hexadecimal's ultimate weapon...a box!"

...and now Hexadecimal is pissed off. I love her faces. SHE IS GOING TO F*** WITH MEGABYTE'S S*** BY SUMMONING...loads of worms, or something, which hack and slash deal with by destroying the bridge. Megabyte leaves, leaving his "toys" to deal with Hex. THEY FIRE LOADS OF S*** AT HER, which she just easily shields herself from like a bawss...and Hex blows up Megabyte's stuff.

MB with DAT VILLAIN MONOLOGUE. He's going to test the Medusa...it's doing things to him...Hex is such a diabolical b****! It was a trap all along! Megabyte is frozen in stone, as is his lair...and according to Hex the rest of Mainframe will soon follow DUN DUN DUNNNN

Meanwhile, Dot suns herself while Bob and Enzo fix the car.

Oh s***, Brisket the dog and the diner both got turned to stone as well! Brisket falling over...from MULTIPLE ANGLES. Unknown filetype...Bob tries to get the car started and can't as the virus bears down on them. Enzo hits it and it works!

Oh cool Chinese sage advice guy. Between them they figure out that it's Hexadecimal. They split up. Chinese sage advice guy goes with Bob. Bob tries to pick weapons...but all they have is "virus erase command". Bob says it's primitive and they'll need to use an addon to make it strong enough to stop the virus.

Bob flies off while Enzo and Dot get people to safety. Meanwhile, Hex practically orgasms over the destruction. She is so lovably evil. Hex sees Bob coming. He throws Virus Erase Command at it, but even with the addon it does nothing. Bob wants a game cube, but one isn't coming. Meanwhile, the Medusa Bug is killing stuff. At the hideout, one of the little robot guys plays the harmonica and someone else plays with a Hexadecimal mask lol. Oh, there's a baby. =(

OH S*** EVERYONE GETS TURNED TO STONE, EVERYONE, S***. After the break Bob breaks out, because he is immune (as Chinese Sage Advice Guy predicted earlier). Bob is pissed off now. Hex sits alone, even her cat Scuzzy is stone. lol...she gets pissed off when he doesn't answer her questions. Bob raids her place and attacks her from behind.

They narrow their eyes at each other...and Bob throws a teddy bear or something at her, whatever. Hex catches it and taunts him, then lunges at him. Bob tries to escape with his glitch wire thing but she's too quick! She has him suspended in midair.

Bob tries to talk her to death. He says setting everything in stone has made Mainframe predictable, quiet, peaceful! This causes Hexadecimal to panic, she likes things going crazy...so she goes insane and undoes the virus. With a click of her finger. And then walks off. Like the badass. At the end, Dot, Bob and Enzo relax...only for a game to appear. pwnt.

1x05: The Tiff

Dot is pretty busy with stuff. Enzo and Bob come in, Dot is angry.

Dot and Bob argue about Dot planning her and Enzo's life ahead of him and Enzo doesn't want to go to an "ancient languages" class. Bob is more chilled out about stuff.

Bob is "Random", Dot is "Pre-programmed". lol. Bob storms out!

Enzo tries to get Bob back, but Bob says he's fine without Dot and the diner, since he has a lot going on. Turns out he doesn't, as he lazes around.

"lonely, call me on the Mainframe party line. My name's Kay and I'm waiting to hear from you...now..."

Bob throws his little robot buddy, Mark the TV out for messing up.

A tear appears in the diner. Enzo is happy because it means Bob has to come, but Dot says she can do it herself! She hits the tear with a chair and it explodes, damaging the diner and singeing both her and Enzo.

"and you thought I couldn't handle things without what's his filename."

Enzo and the little robot guys go to Fawng (who I shall continue to call Sage Chinese Advice Guy, or "SCAG", for future reference). "Those two are going to crash us all!" "Copy and paste that!" NEVER GETS OLD

...Mark the TV jumps on SCAG's desk and says Bob might leave mainframe. SCAG says tragedy or apology might work, so Enzo pretends to be captured by Megabyte, including a...not at all convincing impression of MB.

XD mock film set. PLACES EVERYONE TIME FOR TAKE TWO. He calls Dot this time. The robots tie him up, and both Bob and Dot arrive at the same time. Enzo gets conveyor belt'd towards doom. Dot and Bob continue to argue without saving Enzo lmao. The dog saves him!

"You're the basic one, don't call me basic, you're about as basic as it comes! When I look basic up in the dictionary it's you that I see Dot!" Dot punches him.

Enzo gets another idea. He sends fake apology holograms to Bob and Dot. They meet and have a friendly conversation...then a game appears and as it arrives, the lie is accidentally exposed

"Why in the motherboard would I do something like that!"
"Possibly because you were acting like a dipswitch!"

Meanwhile the prison facility they are in is set to self destruct. PR No. 7 (who is the user) who set it, cuts the power!

Bob and Dot make a plan to cut off the user. They disagree on the route, but Bob follows Dot up eventually. They each get rid of bad guys with the...gun the encasses baddies in bubbles. Bob is attacked from behind and falls! Dot shoots him, because the bubble slows his fall, then sees the user and attacks him. He escapes.

Bob escapes the bubble and Dot tells him to get the power back on, which he does. Dot chases the user through the corridors, while Bob puts doors down in front of him to slow him down, and trolls the user by messing with stairs, calling the user to fall.

Dot shoots pretty much every bad guy on the ship at once like a TOTAL F***ING BOSS, then beats the user to the escape pod, monkey flips him and takes the cardkey to turn off the self-destruct. Dot jumps down to the bottom. Bob says "glitch...ANYTHING" and causes a trampoline to appear, go figure, and Dot lands safely before winning the game by putting the key into the self-destruct console.

At the end, they make up and Enzo is surprised but happy.

Rating: 6/10

Still funny, it just lacked MB or Hex. Bob and Dot are cool and all, but they're not quite cool enough for me to like an episode without a major villain. The whole "they get in a perilous situation and see where the other is coming from" situation was a bit cliche, too, but whatever, I don't expect depth. Just hilarious computer puns.

Episode 1x06: In The Belly of the Beast

...Cool new opening. And a good title for this ep too. High hopes.

Show opens with Hack, Slash and a captured robot, Pearson. MB appears and asks for "the log". They find an old "unformat" command, and MB doesn't like Pearson having lied to him about there being nothing good at the dump Pearson manages. He sends H/S to retrieve it from there.

One of the little robots finds it. His reward: being attacked by the command! MB you evil bastard

Bob finds them at the dump and escapes from MB's ship, which he gets crushed by a garbage...crusher thing. H/S lose the Unformat Command...and Frisket shows up AND EATS IT LOL.

Back at MB's place, MB orders H and S to get Enzo.
Cecil tells Bob he stinks.

Frisket comes in looking unwell. He farts bad, and Bob scans him, finding the command. Bob has no real cure for it, so he says they just have to hope he can stomach it.

They send Frisket to find Enzo. He does, but Enzo is captured by H/S.

Frisket follows Enzo, but he looks weak! Poor thing =(

Then Enzo is captured!

MB is so deliciously evil. "Hurt...is not the word" for what he is going to do to Frisket. Bob and Dot worry. Frisket is put in the "tank" and messed with.

WHAT THE F***, THEY ALL SHOOT LAZERS INTO THE TANK, THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY CRUEL, WHAT THE HELL

MB IS CROSSING THE MORAL EVENT HORIZON

They are going to cut him open!

MB says Enzo has served his purpose. "can't I at least say goodbye?" MB: "Well...NO."

Chris MB you evil bastard.

H/S are about to take Enzo to the city limits, while Enzo distracts H/S with his yo-yo XD and then uses it to mess with the controls of the tank. Frisket escapes and enters angry, god mode. They escape!

They get chased around MB's base and eventually cornered. They shoot ropes at Frisket and they latch onto him, but he runs off with the robots in tow anyway, like a boss. Enzo and Frisket start attacking the power controls, then run off. They come to a huge armoury and Frisket comes back with a HUGE F***ING GUN that shoots, uh...rafts? A raft lands on all the robots chasing them, and Frisket instead goes to a huge ROCKET LAUNCHER and fires at them. They run away.

Enzo and Frisket hijack a...TANK. Megabyte chases them, Hack and Slash hold out their arms to stop him...and they turn out to be as incompetent as ever because when Enzo doesn't stop, they run away. Megabyte jumps in front of the tank and stops it himself like the f***ing boss that he is.

THEN THROWS IT AROUND.

Frisket throws Enzo through a vent, then growls at MB who, in fear sends Hack/Slash at them. Frisket single-handedly takes him apart. ...such a boss.

They are...at the top of some huge machine, somehow. Frisket farts worse than usual. They end up jumping down. Frisket's feeling better, they escape, then just play it off like it was nothing to Bob and Dot.

At the place where Frisket had the worse-than-usual fart, it turned out he had a s***. Which MB stepped in. lol. "SOMEBODY DELETE THAT."

Rating: 9/10

Frisket is literally the most badass dog since the RE4 dog. MB got f***ing serious, too.

1x07: The Crimson Binome

...The opening from the first episode. Weird.

OK so they're at some old-style beach place. Punchcard and Querty lol.

A huge f***ing ship arrives...PIRATES. OMG PIRATES. AWESOME EPISODE CONFIRMED.

At the diner, Dot finds out loads of stuff is offline. Meanwhile, Pirates gonna pillage, looters gonna loot, etc. They attack Bob's place. He is listening to Music on his walkman...while the Pirates steal his car and stuff behind his back lmao.

Pirate's name is "captain capacitor" yes yes yesss.

Turns out the Pirates stole Bob's Guardian Keytool. ooh.

At the docks, Dot and Enzo are unable to get into the docks. Bob realizes he has no KEYTOOL GLITCH THING. WHOOPS. ...so Bob attacks them with a sword. lmao.

The Pirate Princess...some hilarious....huge...thing...is sent to deal with Bob. When Bob arrives, he demands his Glitch back from the captain, who throws it back to him. It lands on the floor in front of him and the Princess bursts through it, pulling Bob into the hold! The ship sails off, with Bob inside, and leaves Mainframe! The captain sets a course for home.

SCAG tells Dot and Enzo that Bob has been taken, so Dot commandeers a private ship like a boss in order to give chase.

SCAG tells Dot they have almost no chance. Dot says "they tasked me, and I shall have them." Uh oh, she is going to kill s***.

Turns out this is the fastest ship. Frisket refuses to come with them...then when they leave, panics and jumps about 100m onto the ship. Such a boss. The ship hits full speed, and gives chase.

Meanwhile, on the Pirate Ship, Bob comes back around.

He tries to take the key from the guard, but the bars are electrified. Bob and the guard banter for a second, then the captain appears. The guard asks Bob's name.

"My name is for my friends. What's yours?"
*bows* "MY name is the Crimson Binome."
"Oh, Captain Capacitor. I've heard of ya."

The princess isn't really a princess, apparently, but do you want to tell her that?

...Bob somehow escapes by throwing his bed at the bars, then squeezing through a really tiny gap. Meanwhile, they hear about Dot's ship and the captain leaves.

Heh, turns out Bob didn't escape. He used the flash caused by the bed being vaporized by the electric bars to hide behind a support beam.

The pirate ship stopped for no reason apparently. Bob is causing chaos on the ship, and Dot cruises up towards it.

Dot now terms herself "Admiral Matrix". Dot sees the chaos on the ship and smirks. Crimson Binome promises them a fight.

Turns out Bob damaged all the cannons but one. ...which fires at the ship. AND FRISKET CATCHES IT IN HIS MOUTH AND CASUALLY DROPS IT. BEST DOG.

Bob is fighting like four pirates at once, then jumps to the ship and a battle ensues. Enzo sends Frisket after the pirate, who freezes Frisket instantly. Nice. Meanwhile, off-screen, the Princess defeats Bob and freezes him too.

The captain taunts them about his victory, but his assistant tells them they are not in line to make their usual amount of money, even with Bob, a guardian, captured. Dot laughs at their pitiful 200% profit margin and throws the captain her spreadsheets. Her password is "Guardian" lol.

....XD Dot talks the villain to death by telling them how they can make more money, simply by not being Pirates.

Captain Capacitor's name is "Gavin" lol

And now they're going into business together. Yes, that happened.

Only Dot can take a gang of LITERAL PIRATES and turn it into a transport business, while taking a percentage of their money in the process.

Just for that. The .5 was for Frisket catching the Cannonball.

1x08: Enzo the Smart

This isn't the best title.

Hmm, episode 1 opening again. Guess this is the norm now.

Opens on an old-style battlefield, kind of American civil-war esque I guess?

...Dot is wearing a f***ing moustache. This is amazing. She misses her cannon fire, then jumps away because the user is firing back at her. Enzo (who is also wearing BA moustache) hits the user's fort, it damages it, but he wants a bigger cannon. So he makes the cannon as big as he can and tries to fire it, but it fails because the cannon is too big. The user attacks them and they jump away.

Now Bob, who has a tiny cannon, fires, and despite Enzo saying it'll do no good, Bob's cannon works because he hits multiple powder kegs, blowing the user to bits.

Enzo is down because he was stupid. Bob and Dot don't help the situation at all by saying "you're just a kid, you'll be smart later". Enzo comes up with an idea to be smart now, and goes to see SCAG. He loses at SCAG's game, but SCAG takes pity on Enzo and helps him out anyway.

SCAG takes him to a secret place, as long as Enzo promises not to touch anything.

The place happens to be the city's "read-only" room, a storage of all information since the beginning of Mainframe. Heh. SCAG worns him that anything worthwhile takes time. Enzo starts "scanning" (reading) the files.

Bob and Dot look for Enzo. Enzo, meanwhile, is getting tired as he reads and says it will take too long. He asks the computer how he can get smarter than everyone (this won't end well), and the computer directs him to the "sprite speed room" where he can make the necessary change.

The room makes Enzo twice as smart as everyone. Enzo isn't any faster, so he gives up. When he leaves, he sees that everything has gone 8-bit! Wow! SCAG is now driving into a wall...so basically, everyone is now unbelievably stupid. Got it.

Enzo goes to see Bob at the diner, and when he walks in everyone congratulates him for finding a way out. lmao. Then Bob tackles him in a role reversal. Heh.

Bob is now dumb muscle. Enzo realizes his mistake and takes what Dot thinks is a hat, but what actually turns out to be one of those glidey things they are always flying around on. Dot shouts that he didn't pay for it, so Bob says "I WILL GET HIM!"

They chase him down, but with Enzo nearly there a game arrives and Enzo is stuck inside it.

Bob, Dot and everyone else crash into the wall.

...The TV is just as smart as he was before (which is to say, dumb). lmao. Turns out this is an athletics kind of game.

Turns out they will do preliminary games to get points, which will determine the placing for the final, winner-take-all game, the eliminator. Bob doesn't know what points are. lmao. Enzo is the coach of the team.

XD BOB IS DOING HULK HOGAN POSES, THIS IS AWESOME.

OK so they play a shotput kind of game. Bob managees to hit himself with it. ...Dot hits Mike the TV's blimp. Next, basketball. Dot tries to throw the spherical robot into the basket rather than the ball (in a slow-motion, sports-movie parody), and Bob bounces the ball into his own face. lmao.

Next, high-jump. Bob doesn't even try and jump, and just runs straight through, pole in hand.

In a...talkshow, Enzo gets mad and says HE will enter, and says he won't let his team ruin it. When the race is about to start, Bob is STILL running around with the High-Jump Pole hahaha

...somehow managed to lose the rest of this. Oops.

Anyway, basically Enzo wins the race by transferring his team to the user's team, causing him to slow down. The crowning glory comes when, right at the finish line, Bob (still carrying the high-jump pole) crashes into the user. Enzo is able to win. Brought to you by soothing 32-bit cream. Because you itch.

They get out of the game, Enzo fixes everything, then at the Diner he is seen sitting and reading quietly. Bob and Dot think something is wrong, until Enzo says "well, that's enough for today" and tackles Bob as usual.

Rating: 7/10

OK it was pretty much slapstick jokes, but they were funny. The literal "running gag" with Bob was hilarious

1x09: Wizards, Warriors, and a Word from Our Sponsor

Bob is paranoid. He is hiding!

...from Mike the TV. lol. "For the 128th time...stop!" Mike constantly runs adverts. Bob gets a screwdriver and is about to dismantle him when a game appears.

1 user...4...characters...wizards, warriors...

They reboot and Dot is the witch, Enzo is...an elf I guess and Bob is a thief. Did I tell you my Bartz was a thief in Final Fantasy 5? I didn't? Oh well that's a shameAUGHGH

Bob is upset because he is usually the warrior. Turns out the warrior...is Mike the TV. lol this could get good. He can't even lift the sword. Bob can't touch it, because a thief can't use a Warrior's weapon. "we're all stuck playing our roles." ...shut UP

They almost kick Mike TV out, but he is sad so they let him back in.

A door gives them a riddle. Mike runs into the door, it slams open and they fall down a sewer. They are sailing on it. Dot finds a map and discovers they are on the vicious pit of total oblivion. Good to know. They fall in.

They manage to grab the ledge before falling.

They end up in a room with lots of doors. Before trying to figure out which one to go for, two statues come to life and attack them. Uh oh. They run. Bob wants to fight, but only has a butterknife. Dot casts a spell the multiplies them, but makes them smaller. Bob tells her to do it again and again and again, until they are tiny and easily defeated. She then uses her magic to clamp Mike's mouth shut.

They try a door and see an unidentified beast, close it in panic and try another door which takes them to the next level. On a spiral staircase, they are attacked by a giant spider. Bob jumps on it and cuts his thread with the butterknife.

On the next level they are attacked by literal giant Carrots, which Bob dispatches easily with Glitch.

We then see a couple of levels of various misadventures. On level 65, which we are informed is the penultimate level, they are racing down a long corridor on a horse or something. It breathes fire.

"Of course, it just HAD to breathe fire."
"Sure, that fits right in with shadow world, living rock piles, battle carrots, killer puddles, living laundry-"
"traps ahead!"

In said corridor of traps, Bob is separated from the group by a falling wall. They run through, and Bob is somehow at the end anyway. They then fall through the floor, to level 66, the final level.

Mike is still being annoying, as he has throughout. A shadow enemy appears and attacks their shadows, causing Dot to nearly fall into a pit. Mike is their only chance of survival, then wins by blowing out the light.

They all apologize to Mike.

The floor begins to collapse and they have to quickly solve the riddle, which is just all four of them putting their hands in the keyhole.

In the final room, they are attacked by dopplegangers. Mike runs, the two Bobs have a fistfight and Dot and fake Dot have a magic-off. Mike manages to annoy fake Dot and force her to leave, normal Dot returns to normal and turns fake Mike into a beachball, and then Dot punts fake Enzo through a mirror. Mike forces fake Bob to leave with the commercial channel.

The users arrive. After a brief skirmish, Mike ends up grabbing the chalice and winning the game.

"HE'S SILLY HE'S COOKY HE'S REALLY VALUABLE IN A DUNGEON-LIKE, ADVENTURE GAME"

I think the characters then break the fourth wall by saying "Mike, we know we love ya, right? And you know we want another season, right? Then give us a commercial break, would ya?!"

Whatever.

Rating: 5/10

Eh, it was pretty all-action but it got kind of boring, I dunno. Maybe because of Mike.

Yayy episode 10

1x10: The Great Brain Robbery

Opens with a game cube, but the camera skips past it, straight to MB's lair. Good, MB means awesome.

...oh hey it's...Mouse? Oh! Bob mentioned her during the Pirates thing.

Wait a minute, did Megabyte just check out her ass?! ...Pimp

So what mission are they up to here, hm? Mouse, Hack and Slash are in a ship. MB says that if Mouse goes off-mission, delete her. MB initiates a compression field, it makes them small, I guess. MB puts the ship Mouse is in into a dropper and hands it to "Sergeant Smiley", whatever. Meanwhile, Bob/Dot/Enzo leave the game.

MB talks to "agent 6", a Robot wearing a long trenchcoat lol. Heh, he speaks in code that MB doesn't understand, so 6 simply says "they're on their way, sir". Agent 12 does the same thing so MB singes him, and 12 does the same thing: puts it simply.

Oh hey they're back at Al's! Having tied Al up, Sergeant Smilie puts the dropper containing the shp into the milkshake Bob orders. Enzo takes a sip and swallows it!

They are going to attack the nervous system. Wowza. MB thinks they're inside Bob, WHOOPS.

MB wants into Bob's head for the Supercomputer access codes and to make Bob his servant. Hack and Slash start messing with Enzo's brain circuits and he goes crazy, jumping around like Tom Cruise on Oprah.

They go to see SCAG, and he sees Hack and Slash. Bob says he is going in and Dot wants to go in as well, but Enzo says he wants her to stay with him.

Inside the brain, Mouse takes control. MB is excited, and flicks the switch to get the password he wants. Instead, he gets Enzo's password, "Bellybutton", and then his life rewinds. SCAG gets reduced!Bob and throws him in.

MB then uses his command to find out it's actually Enzo he is in control of...but now he's happy because he's been brought into the principal office! He can do what he wants now.

He tries to take Enzo to mainframe central computer, but Bob interrupts. Hack and Slash chase him around in their usual hilarious manner, before causing them to crash into Mouse's ship.

Mouse leaves the cockpit just as Bob arrives, and manages to get around him. She freezes him. Meanwhile, Enzo enters the core against his will.

Mouse zaps off Bob's helmet and they reunite. Bob tells Mouse MB's true intentions! Clearly she had been lied to about what was going on.

Mouse pulls the plug on Enzo, allowing him to regain the control and run out of the core.

Mouse: Rule #1: DON'T EVERY TRY TO DOUBLE-CROSS THE MOUSE.
Megabyte: Rule #2: I cross whomever I please.

THE BOSS.

Mouse lets out a weird roar, and MB begins to grow them back. They charge out at full speed, not before vaporizing Bob's ship. "You always were such an exciting date."

Mouse is awesome.

Enzo sneezes out the ship just as it re-enlarges. For some reason we get multiple angles of this.

We get a very jealous look on Dot's face, but Mouse has already escaped. Mouse leaves her mark on the wall before leaving.

H/S are the last loose end, so the heroes compress them before sending 'em back to MB.

Rating: 9/10

Mouse was awesome, MB was awesome, and there's some backstory yet to be explored there I think. Hopefully we get it later.

1x11: Talent Night

WTF, the opening changed back to the badass one with SCAG talking in the background. That's weird.

XD YESSSS. Dot's organizer keeps rejecting the good one.

-Null...juggling. The Nulls scream as they are tied up like balloons, everyone looks appalled. Hah.

-Megabyte sees the party and wants in.

Bob and Enzo are playing a game in some anti-gravity chamber. Megabyte appears in vidwindow and Bob gets hit on the head w/ the ball. Megabyte almost gives away the surprise so Bob throws Enzo into the goal. Stay classy, Bob.

MB is hurt that he wasn't invited! Enzo wants to go back cuz he's hungry, but Bob drags him out for more fun, presumably because he knows Dot isn't ready yet.

Back at the party...auditions...thing now. SCAG is going to sing! GO SCAG! He starts singing "Unforgettable"...and forgets the words yessss SCAG best character.

The small-town Binomes next. aka: the village people in computer form! Dot and the assistant pick them, because they're awesome.

Next is "the primitives", a bunch of shapes that dance around and end up forming the Icon that Dot has on her chest. "Oh, that's what it is!"

MB's goons are backstage. The stage lifts up and everyone sees them! Sergeant Smiley is left in the middle after the rest scatter...so he begins to BREAKDANCE. ...And they get booked! Awesome! They talk to MB and MB says "prepare for operation plan 214"...uh oh!

Meanwhile, Bob and Enzo are on some huge data slide, a helter-skelter type thing. Enzo is tired and hungry, but Bob throws Enzo down the slide, then talks to Dot, who says they aren't ready yet. Bob looks up and sees Enzo is leaving! He warns Dot.

Enzo is walking through the party. He gets surprized and transformed into...new Enzo with a "10" on his shirt instead of a "01". Awesome.

Now it's showtime...and HOLY S*** DOT PERFORMING IN A RED DRESS. Enzo and Bob have no idea what's going on. This is literally the best thing. "You're the tip of the top, the cream of the crop, and I just gotta say that it's true...there's no-one like you...you're alphanumeric!"

Best. f***ing song.

MEGABYTE SUDDENLY APPEARS WITH MULTIPLE HOVERCARS....he pops out of a coffin-type thing...AND HE HAS...A guitar.

He has a guitar.
Guys.

MEGABYTE HAS A GUITAR. HE IS PLAYING. HE DIALS THE SOUND SYSTEM UP TO 11!

OMG HE IS PLAYING AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING GUITAR SOLO.

Bob narrows his eyes. "Glitch...BFG." AND A BIG F***ING GUITAR APPEARS IN HIS HAND.

Hack and Slash are on the drums.

Megabyte and Bob are having a guitar duel

THIS IS F***ING HAPPENING THIS IS THE BEST THING

I am in tears. It ends.

Megabyte: I've ALWAYS wanted to do that. heh heh heh.

Then he gives Enzo the guitar and leaves. Seriously.

Mike TV: Ladies and Gentlemen, Megabyte has left the building

Episode 1x12: Identity Crisis - Part 1

ooh, two-parter. And we're back to the Episode 1 opening again. What the hell?

Ep opens in a game with a field and river.

Bob is fishing and suddenly a tank rolls up. Enzo is inside, and he complains that the game is too boring. Bob says he might get caught in "the funhouse".

The user doesn't know how to drive. One of the round guys is in a plane so British accent and manages to blow himself up >_> Bob more or less says "ahh, f*** this" and ends this game by blowing the user up witha Rocket Launcher.

At the diner, Dot experiences a temporary distortion of reality where everything goes dark...Megabyte colours, almost. She puts it down to working too hard.

Apparently it's a big day for Dot today. Enzo almost loses his Icon and Dot says personal ID codes are on there and if someone gets hold of it, you can be made to do anything. Anyway, Dot and Bob get ready to go but tell Enzo he'll have to sit this one out.

They're at a secret location and Bob is wearing cool shades.

Turns out they're at...a hall with a massive audience. Turns out she wants to turn that sector into a massive energy park and needs their personal IDs to do it. After some convincing they let it happen, and this marks the first time they have ever converted one of Megabyte's sectors!

...Hack/Slash look on. Control of their lives is now inside the little iPad thing they transferred all their Icons to.

Hack/Slash and MB's cronies attack them! Bob and Dot escape into a utilities tunnel. Back in the hall, Megabyte vidwindows appear. He knows it's Dot and won't let her escape the sector.

In the sewers, the guy Bob and Dot are with lets himself get captured so they can escape.

Dot has transport. "Get in..." "That's my line."

Ooh. Dot is in pissed off mode here.

Dot sees the temporary distortion of reality again, but snaps out of it and attempts to escape MB's cronies.

Bob starts firing the big gun at them, accidentally causing a column to crash. Luckily, it crashes on top of the baddies.

They escape, but MB is triumphant...because the file of Personal IDs has been removed! Uhoh! I'm guessing it was Cyrus (guy they were with in the sewers)

MB doesn't have them yet, it will take a while to unlock the PIDs.

MB: "what you did was sneaky, underhanded and downright distasteful! I loved it!"

Yeah, it WAS Cyrus. MB makes him a lieutenant.

Dot is distraught, and experiences the distortion again. After it, Dot goes into Heroic BSOD mode again as a game appears. "I don't like the look of this" says Bob.

It's the funhouse. Oh.

Rating: 6/10

Eh. It felt too much like setup, which it was. Not a good ep.

1x13: Identity Crisis Part 2

Oh cool a recap.

So at the funhouse, Bob reboots as a clown. Dot is jaded and doesn't want to play. She's a jester.

The user heads for the first level, while Megabyte continues to decode the file.

Bob and Dot are...swallowed...into the funhouse. SCAG sees them and is worried about Dot. Into a room of doors. Bob picks the wrong one and is turned into a puppet.

SCAG appears and "shows Dot something". Suddenly, the "user wins" and she leaves the game, permanently in the alternate reality she saw before.

She escapes one of MB's cronies and sees her diner has been changed into "Nibble's" diner. Cecil has been replaced with "Entry Unit 26".

Apparently this is not "mainframe" - this is "megaframe". Suddenly, the door opens and HOLY S*** WHAT ENZO IS OLD AND BADASS NOW. Scar on the eye, ear piercing. Hat on backwards. o_O

Enzo wonders where his barcode is. MB's cronies catch up to her. Dot wonders where Bob is, Enzo tells her - then Enzo throws her out! MB appears on a big screen and everyone bows to him.

In an alley, we hear SCAG's voice. SCAG has gone completely insane and is living in a box. ...and Bob is a null in a cage! Ouch =(

Cronies catch up with Dot and she runs away. But they corner her! Lieutenant Cyrus appears on-screen and one of the cronies puts a big helmet on her head. It shaves her head and barcodes her. She flashes back to the game, and SCAG tells her too go. Having seen the consequences of failure, she tries harder. In the funhouse, she rides down a huge bowling alley, chasing the user. She evades a massive bowling ball, then in the final game manages to beat the user at a "squirt water into a frog's mouth to fill a container and push the ball to the top"-type game that you usually get in theme parks etc.

Out of the game, SCAG appears, saying "you look...perplexed."

Bob appears and congratulates her, but she goes back to the distortion of reality as SCAG explains what he was doing. He used the device because it could show the future or the past or whatever.

Bob and Dot realize the file has not been decrypted yet, so they advance. However, MB is close to decrypting it - he only has one number left.

Bob and Dot take a vehicle full of prisoners from the section and he puts on a Megabyte voice to allay guard suspicion before running off with it.

d'aww everyone in the prison van isn't angry with Dot because they believe her. Megabyte breaks the code though! Something is wrong, however.

Dot and Bob managed to get to the wires that go into MB's lair! They downloaded the files before MB could finish decrypting. Dot then goes on screen and tells them that Cyrus' "betrayal" was part of the plan all along, so the traitor gets his comeuppance.

At the end, they successfully turn the sector into the energy park they wanted to.

Rating: 7/10

2x01: Infected

Gonna start calling him Fawng now. >_>

Anyway, a file is on the way into Mainframe. Cool. An upgrade.

The upgrade is a small cylinder. Bob expected more.

On they go into the core with the upgrade. Cecil wants legs from the upgrade, lol.

Fawng tells everyone to prepare for "power down and upgrade". Bob hits the button. Powerdown completed, they open up the upgrade. Inside is MEGABYTE holy bald. He zaps Fawn and catches the lid of the upgrade when Bob throws it at him. He starts choking Fawng.

MB copies Fawng's ROM, takes the access codes and heads for Core Control. Dot comes to and tries to warn everyone.

The distress signal is barely discernible and a curfew is issued.

MB begins his villainous monologue but Bob cuts it off by kicking MB out of the way. He dodges MB again and MB goes for Dot and Fawng, so Bob throws an energy field in the way. MB bounces off the field and hits "glitch lampost" lmao.

Then glitch runs out of battery and Bob runs away.

Fawng tells Dot to run and leave him! Did Fawng die?! The f***? Bob runs back and pulls Dot into a portal that allows him to leave the core. MB is annoyed they managed to get out, but initiates an erase command anyway. Everyone begins to panic

MB uses the electromagnetic...disk things from Fawng's favourite game to chase down Bob and Dot. Bob uses Dot's charger to charge glitch and create an energy field.

At the diner, Enzo and everyone is disappearing and tells Cecil to keep energy shakes coming in order to keep their levels up.

Back in the core, Hex appears on screen. She asks if MB will erase her, and MB says that's no way to treat "family"...hmm. Hex says "let's discuss the deal." oooh! HEX/MB ALLIANCE. YAY HEX.

Mainframe is now collapsing. Holy crap.

MB promises Hex 50/50 control...yeah, I don't believe you. Dot finds the armory and Bob finds a charging module for glitch. I guess Dot's organizer only gave it a small amount of charge.

Fawng appears as a hologram, telling Bob to use Megabyte's "greed". Meanwhile, everyone in the diner is fading away. MB appears in video and taunts Enzo, but Dot appears piloting a HUGE F***ING ROBOT or "exoskeleton suit" as MB calls it. She punts MB all over the room, towards a huge, Return of the Jedi-like shaft. But as she goes to crush him with the exoskeleton, MB throws her off! She latches onto the ledge, and Bob appears just before MB sends her to her doom. He suspends her in mid-air and Dot recovers.

"Bob, I got him, reverse the program!"
"Ah, but WHO has WHOM, Miss Matrix?"

...MB then INFECTS THE EXOSKELETON and controls Dot. He says he wants a portal to the Supercomputer and begins to crush Bob's head, so Bob agrees to create one.

A portal room descends and MB enters. Bob uses glitch to put a lock on the door! MB is trapped...and then says this is actually where the Principal Office breaks down viruses!

MB begins to break down, but quickly uses his power to rig a self-destruct program. Bob has no choice but to eject Megabyte out of the core. MB lives on but Mainframe survives. A new file comes in.

Rating: 8.5/10

Megabyte got serious. More serious, I mean.

Show opens with some sort of creepy alien thing that is right in the middle of the core.

Bob's looking for something. He's working on his car.

The alien escapes and Bob stops mid-movement - he senses it. The weird alien finds Fawng and demands to see someone called "Talon". Fawng tries to escape, but the alien freezes him.

Enzo breaks into Pearson's (the guy who manages the dump) private stash. He finds a stablizer for his aircart or whatever, a long, pole-like thing.

Suddenly, alien thing appears on all the vidscreens. He wants Talon, or he will damage mainframe.

Bob and Dot find him and reveal he is a Codemaster, from the net, whatever. They demand he release Fawng. He complies but attacks Bob when he says Talon isn't here, freezing Glitch in the process. He begins to destroy Mainframe sector-by-sector.

Dot contacts Megabyte! She wants his transport, but MB says "nope".

Fawng checks out Glitch and reveals the lock on it can only be removed by a Codemaster.

Later, Fawng reveals Codemasters delete and destroy whatever they are paid to. He then says Talon was harboured here and changed his identity. Talon still LIVES in Mainframe?! Cool.

Enzo eavesdrops on the conversation. He sees the weapon the Codemaster uses and gets an idea. He heads to Pearson's and says Pearson is Talon, and the thing he found before is his old weapon.

Pearson refuses to step up and Enzo leaves angrily. The alien leaves.

Meanwhile, Bob attacks him and is caught, but a game arrives. Bob taunts the codemaster by saying it contains a power greater than his, and they head inside.

According to Fawng, Bob's plan is to lose on purpose and nullify the stranger - but also to nullify HIMSELF. Whoa.

Bob gets the lock removed by the Codemaster, then reboots as a Cowboy in this wild-west style game. The Codemaster and Bob jump on the train the user is on, and start trying to beat the user to the next station. The user gets to the front of the train and uses a hammer to release all the other carriages, including Bob and the Codemasters'. With a mile left before the station, Bob starts to say "man, I'm gonna miss these games..." suddenly, we hear Enzo! He is on the front of the train with the user, tied up, and will be nullified too!

With a 1/4 mile left, Bob lassos onto the front cartridge, unties Enzo and wins the game. Bob is mad at Enzo but Enzo cuts him off - Pearson appears, and so does the Codemaster! Pearson is carrying his weapon. Enzo tells Bob that's why he entered the game.

They face-off, wild-west style...Pearson then breaks his weapon and says he's not a Codemaster anymore. The Codemaster says "f*** that, once a Codemaster, always a Codemaster", and begins to grow! He causes a paradigm shift in Mainframe (basically the sky goes all funky, w/e).

Codemaster is about to crush Pearson when Bob, Dot and Enzo gets in the way. The codemaster then says "I have never seen such...honour!" and then leaves. Oh. Alright.

Rating: 6/10

Codemaster was a kickass villain, but that ending kind of sucked.

Episode 2x03: When Games Collide

Opens in an Egyptian-style area. Why is everyone silver? Anyway, a weird robot is attacking them. Bob, Enzo, Dot and robots shoot the s*** out of it, but it does nothing.

Hack/Slash are on top of the game and MB appears. He tells them to put the energy-draining device on top of the game and they turn it on. In the game, the robot slows down.

Enzo uses his gun as a baseball bat, and uses the robot's extremely slow-firing cannons against it. Game over. Dot calls Fawng who talks about an energy drain. She then gets another call and there's trouble at the archives.

They enter the archives, which is a f***ing cool place. Turns out they almost lost the security field's power which uses so much power it's second only to the core itself for power usage.

MB is told they were ALMOST in, so he says that Hack and Slash should turn the energy leecher to max next time even if it means taking all the energy in the city.

Bob has a feeling MB is up to something so he goes to check up on it.

Megabyte does some fancy s*** and creates what looks like a stargate, and Frisket/Enzo find a manhole cover which they check out.

WARNING INCOMING GAME

Bob is inside a combat game and reboots as a soldier. H/S start completely draining the game and everything slows down again. Apparently the gamecube is going to crash according to SCAG-I mean, Fawng.

The game, crashes, will be manually restarted, and ANOTHER game lands on top of it. They've merged! Weird! A pterodactyl or something and a fighter jet merge, creepy.

MB is in the game! He is annoyed because his goons leeched out too much energy. Suddenly, a dinosaur/tank hybrid appears (YES). In the sewer, Enzo and Frisket find MB's goons.

Meanwhile, MB and Bob, running from the dinotank, reach a huge canyon. Bob tries to push over a tree, MB refuses until he sees the dinotank, then pushes it over singlehandedly. On the tree-bridge, MB pushes Bob off. As he's falling, though, he gets rescued by one of the sphere-robot guys. MB gets shunted into tar by the dinotank and begins to sink. Though he repels Rocks fired by the dinotank, he can't last much longer. Bob "can't go against his programming" and almost HAS to save him.

Meanwhile, in the sewers, Enzo and Frisket are captured.

With MB about to sink, Bob flies into the dinosaur and kicks his icon, winning the game.

Dot tells Bob that Enzo/Frisket are missing and that MB was using game energy and stole an old gateway command.

Bob goes to MB's base, while MB uses the gateway command to open the supercomputer.

German doctor tells MB the portal is highly unstable so MB is going to use Enzo to test it.

Enzo is sent in before Bob and Dot can do anything, but there's a rope attached. Bob and Dot come down to kick ass, but the rope is cut. In a last-ditch effort, Bob goes through to get Enzo and bring him back. Hack and Slash try to stop him by moving the portal around, but Bob goes through anyway and they drop it. The portal explodes, but Bob/Enzo escape in time.

Enzo is hyped cuz he saw the supercomputer. Dot, meanwhile, has been captured, but MB lets her go after Bob reminds him about earlier.

Rating: 7.5/10

The .5 is for the game merging, thought that was clever. Otherwise, meh ep.

2x04: Bad Bob

Ooh. Interesting.

Anyway, normal opening.

This opens with loads of MB ships attacking the Principal Office. Wow, s*** getting serious early.

At the diner, Bob's car crashes again while Enzo arrives in his own air cart that he made. Dot is mad at Bob for telling him about the supercomputer. Fawng calls Bob to warn him about the Principal Office, but gets cut off. Dot finds out from someone else, and Bob heads there quickly.

MB fires on the office and then clamps a huge...thing on it. Another energy leecher I think. Hack and Slash hope it works because MB has been getting depressed recently, ha.

MB, telling hack and slash to take care of Bob has never worked.
And it doesn't here.

Bob attacks MB's machinery, but a game is arriving. The speech is looped. Weird.

Running ops on the machinery, Dot sees Enzo and tells everyone to hold fire. As the game arrives, Enzo uses his air cart to punt MB into the huge pool of what I presume is core energy.

Bob uses glitch to RC his car as MB sinks. The game arrives, and the car made it into the game.

Bob reboots as a badass...roadie kind of guy.

It's weird. The game lands half on the core and half not, and apparently this corrupts the game. Also, power surges are tearing through mainframe. Fawng is in the game and tells Bob that MB stole core energy, which is now trapped in the game. This means that whoever wins, Mainframe's energy will LEAVE with the game. Bob needs to stall the game until power returns to Principal Office.

Enzo is in the game, trying to stop the user. Uh oh.

Bob collects bonus coins that give him speed. Meanwhile, Enzo gets into first place...by passing a huge truck that LOOKS LIKE MEGABYTE. Hack/Slash are on it.

Apparently all the energy from the principal office is on the truck.

Enzo, with Bob in tow, catches up to the truck. Bob gets in, gets past hack and slash, and gets to the wheel. Bob steers the truck and JUST manages to make it stop. at the place that would win him the game.

Outside, Dot talks to #1 who sounds like Sean Connery. Awesome. Dot scolds some people who doubt Bob.

In the game, Bob and Enzo are on a collision course with the british robots from a few episodes back. We get "Rule Britannia" in guitar riff form (awesome) as they take evasive action but they can't since they're in a canyon. There are no brakes on the Megabyte truck so...they CRASH. Holy s***.

Well, Megabyte's truck plows right through it and all the bikes and cars that were behind it. British guys survive, cool.

Enzo and Frisket ALMOST fall off, but don't because they are caught by Fawng's helicopter. The user is firing on Bob's truck, but Frisket SINGLE-HANDEDLY stops it with his mouth. Awesome.

As per the plan he laid out before, Hack and Slash unhook the truck when Bob honks the horn. The truck's load crashes onto the user, but hits the core at the same time. However, all is well when the game ends. MB and Bob are left alone, and MB is annoyed and about to attack Bob. Dot and the cavalry are there, though, and MB has no choice but to retreat.

Rating: 8/10

Cool chase scene. I feel like it's lost some of its humour this season though. And there's been practically NO Hexadecimal =/

2x05: Painted Windows

Three workers having a conversation before OMG HEX APPEARS. YAY.

Meanwhile Dot exercising, before somebody starts DRAWING A SUN ON THE SKY. Hah. Turns out Hex has broken into the archives and stolen a PAINT PROGRAM! The guards have been kidnapped and are stuck to...paintings...and she is now PAINTING MAINFRAME. This is awesome XD.

Mainframe stars changing colours and getting flooded by paint! She puts the workers INTO her paintings, turning them into The Scream, the Mona Lisa, etc, then makes Megabyte's Lair say "Hexadecimal" and look like Van Gogh's Sunflowers.

Hex is the best. She STRETCHES MB'S FACE, THEN ZIPS HIS MOUTH AND STARTS COLOURING HIM, MAKING HIM LOOK LIKE A JESTER. I LOVE THIS.

According to Fawng he can break the link with the archive, but Bob needs to execute an undo command first. Just as he says this, his face is scrubbed out by the "erase" tool and replaced with...an apple. Hex, you...yes. YES. Now Fawng really is the "keeper of the core" oh ho ho ho

Hex cuts off Bob's lines of communication to Dot, then cuts out their travel options. Heh, I see Picasso-style melting clocks.

Enzo and Bob split up.

Mike TV is...being a pretentious art critic. I see pop art with Dot. Awesome. Bob goes and recuits Mike for his plan. Hex's painting has caused weird gateways in Mainframe that lead to various different places. Suddenly, Frisket is a lot smaller than he was a second ago, clearly Hex played with the crop tool. >_>

Dot arrives at the Archive Security System and it has been destroyed. Enzo follows and they check it out, as Bob/Mike arrive at Hex's. All the Nulls near Hex's lair have Bob's face, heh. It's Hex's "blue period" according to Mike.

In the archives, Enzo says to Dot that they can't break the link until they get the signal from Dot, then stupidly falls INTO the archives, and gets trapped inside vidwindows.

Bob and Mike come across Scuzzy, Hex's cat thing, which is guarding her lair. They initially laugh, but it is now f***ing huge. As they run away, they split up but Scuzzy simply splits into two and continues to chase them.

Meanwhile Enzo finds out he can control the windows he is stuck in and uses them as steps for Dot.

Bob and Mike trip and fall into each other, but Hex comes and says "the Guardian is mine." Bob says he is there to interview her.

Hex teleports them inside while Dot and Enzo keep looking.

Apparently Bob's plan involves neither of them surviving.

Mike begins the interview. "We bring you this system-wide exclusive straight from the artist's studio-"
"LAIR!"
"what?"
"the artist's LAIR!"
"oh. right."

Turns out Bob isn't really there, and it's actually one of the fake, cardboard bobs that Hex had produced earlier.

She gets mad and attacks Mike, while Bob uses the distraction and undoes all. Hex approaches him but he quickly crops her face and moves it to a different screen, holy s*** Bob, dick move.

Apparently the mask is the only thing that keeps Hexadecimal in check! Without it she will be destroyed.

Inside the archives, Dot manages to destroy the program but that means Hex will explode and destroy mainframe or something. Bob quickly brings Glitch back, and uses it to pull the "face" file from the screen and puts it back on Hex.

Everyone is happy ever after etc but Hex is...distraught it seems. She didn't even talk after she got her face back. Bob left Mike with her, and the show closes on Hex's menacing face before fading to black everywhere except her eyes, which are now blank and green. Creepy.

Rating: 9.5/10

Not only is Hexadecimal the best character in this show hands down, the concept was f***ing genius and it was executed brilliantly as well.

2x06: AndrAIa

Enzo is bored watching TV, which includes a trailer for a TV show that looks like it's based on the pirates episode. Awesome.

Enzo bemoans having no friends and the fact that Bob is in a game and that Dot doesn't let her into games anymore. Bob wins his game but is mad at robots who almost lose it for him. Enzo tries to tackle him but misses, ha.

Dot suggests a refresher course for the robots that have become a bit rubbish at games, and then talks about Enzo. Apparently there aren't any young sprites left since "twin city" was destroyed, and Bob stops abruptly in mid-sentence. ...Wow, Dot's father was in twin city and is not there anymore...sucks. Apparently an experiment just got out of control. =/

Enzo is sad, and apparently Frisket is on the pirate ship because Frisket does whatever he wants (...f*** yeah Frisket).

Enzo throws a tantrum and storms out, blaming his Dad for deleting all the sprites that would have been his friends. =/

What the f*** has happened to my Reboot.

Meanwhile, at the refresher course, Bob tells people to stay out of games and that it isn't always a good idea to reboot, pointing to the previous example of Enzo rebooting as a damzel, heh. One of the sphere robots has "I <3 u" on her eyelashes.

There are 5 types of game subsets: aggressive, defensive, chaotics and passives. He then talks about the new kind, the "artifical intelligence" that alter themselves based on play so far, becoming better opponents.

Fawng comes in after the course to talk to Enzo. A game suddenly arrives...and is going to land on the diner. Uh oh! Everyone runs out, but Enzo stays inside. Bob and Dot get inside the game as well. It's an underwater game, cool, and Enzo reboots as the pilot of a robotic fish while Bob and Dot reboot as merpeople, I think. They are revealed as telepathic when Bob thinks "wow, what a babe" and Dot is all "I heard that".

Game is new to Bob. Apparently the idea is for the user to find the lost treasure, and they have to stop him. Bob has badass electrical powers and Dot can generate...Piranha Mines.

We see a random girl, who uses a starfish as a Shuryuken and damages a shark robot, which I presume is the user. It is about to attack her when Enzo catches her in his fish's mouth.

Bob and Dot attack the user and Dot unleashes a piranha mine, which UTTERLY destroys the user's ship. However, it regenerates - the user has 15 lives!

In Enzo's ship, he revives the girl who roars at him. Bob and Dot kills the user a 6th time.

Turns out the girl was fine and her/Enzo have a conversation, where Enzo lies to her and says he is a guardian. lol.

She reveals herself as Andrea...or...AndrAIa I guess. Andraia goes to the front of the ship suddenly and starts trying to direct the user away from some kind of threat (eyes in the dark). The user still has 8 lives left. Dot goes mad and kills the user again, and Bob determines that their only chance is to beat the user to the treasure. Bob slows it down by making deep rents into the shark-ship.

Meanwhile, Enzo tells Andraia about "that time [his] friend Bob rebooted as a Damzel". Oh Enzo. He says this is the best time he ever had d'aww.

Andraia steers through some evil fish or whatever and they high five. They KO the user now, but it comes back to life. Dot and Bob swim into...red-coloured water. Meanwhile Enzo and Andraia swim. Bob and Dot are now surrounded by Greate White sharks, but they run off when Bob cuts one in half.

The user runs ahead of them and they panic and give chase.

They almost catch up, but the user is about to reach the treasure when Enzo crashes into the user. Bob and Dot are about to reach the treasure when an Octopus reaches and grabs them. Meanwhile Andraia tells Enzo that she is a game sprite and Enzo dispairs, but she tells him they can still stay together, and then knocks him unconscious with a tap. She then takes the "AI" icon from her belt, and puts Enzo in one of the ship's...missiles, I guess? And fires it at the treasure, winning the game.

Enzo is fine...and Andraia's AI icon is on top of Enzo's. When Bob sees it and touches it, Andraia appears! The game let her out, thinking she was Enzo. Awesome!

Episode ends with Andraia saying "so, guardian, are these your friends" and Bob saying "wait, what"

Rating: 8/10

Andraia's voice was a bit annoying, but if this means Andraia will be a regular cast member and an interest for Enzo, that's pretty awesome.

Episode 2x07: Nullzilla

Show starts with a Null zipping around and then HEX YES.

She sees the supercomputer and talks to Mike and Scuzzy about how easy it is to find...apparently he got the smarts, but she got the POWER BWAHAHAHA. All he has to do to get it is ask nicely.

"AHAHAHAHA AHAHAH This bores me"

Mike shows her a video of a woman speaking in a high-pitched voice which breaks Hex's looking glass. Stuff comes out of it and attacks her!

Megabyte appears, talks to Hack/Slash. They have completed Phases 1 and 2 of the operation. Phase 3 is..."read him a story and put him to bed". There's a baby null in a cradle.

Meanwhile, Bob, Enzo, Dot and...Andraia! Are trying to work out a way to restore nulls to their original state. Enzo says that basically a null can be brought back to being a real person by the same game it lost. So far they've been unable to turn a Null back to normal though. Meanwhile Hex is infected by the thing that came out the looking glass.

All the Nulls suddenly scream and stand to attention. They scream and the nulls are now going crazy.

Fawng and Bob find the signal and it is being emitted from Lost Angles! Bob says..."...Megabyte."
Enzo: "No, Bob, Hexadecimal."
Bob: "What? Right right, Hexadecimal. Did I say Megabyte?!"

Meanwhile, H/S' null escapes. At Lost Angles, Hexadecimal is now pretty much symbiote Spiderman or Venom or something.

All the heroes bar Andraia and Fawng go to check it out. Andraia still thinks Enzo is a guardian lol

All the nulls suddenly pile on Hex, as H/S arrive at Lost Angles. Mike TV sees them and is panicked. Hack and Slash escape with him. They meet with Bob, Dot, Enzo and Frisket and apparently that null H/S were looking after was MB's pet nibble lol.

Suddenly Mike points at the huge mass that is crossing the bridge towards them. It's Nullzilla! Something horrible came through her looking glass and it "wasn't Alice!" according to Mike.

The Nullzilla is draining Hex's energy, and will eventually get rid of her, but Hex's attempts to break free are destroying the city.

Fawng is...prepared for this. XD. In his office, he puts Bob and Dot in insect-like uniforms. They go through badass tubes and...yes, yes, this IS a Power Ranger parody. With insects. I thought so. >_>

They get into vehicles that match their insects. Bob asks what the plan is and Fawng says they have to COMBINE INTO ONE GIANT ROBOT THAT WILL BATTLE NULLZILLA. YES. POWER RANGERS.

"You're kidding, right? These form...a what?"
"A GIANT. ROBOT."

"REBOOT ROBOT ENTYMOLOGIZING FORCE" and...yes, they are now a Robot.

Bob: Huh. Go figure.

Hack and Slash are STILL trying to find MB's pet null.

The robot attacks Nullzilla...and punches it into Bob's apartment. Whoops.

Fawng tells them to "Use the disruptomatic!"
After a while. Bob says "WE HAVEN'T GOT ONE!"

turns out they left it at Fawng's. Oops. Fawng says he will try and get it to them.

Mike annoys everyone. Awesome, Andraia pilots the Disruptomatic. She's the sixth ranger! Meanwhile, the Null starts beating the crap out of the Megazord.

Andraia arrives and attaches the Matic.

Bob gives Andraia instructions on how to get to the cockpit, but she's already there, heh. Bob wields the disruptomatic like an electric whisk and destroys Nullzilla, spraying Nulls everywhere Whatever caused the problem is gone, but Hex is still down. Whatever caused the problem is gone..."but where?" Dot asks. MB's pet null arrives back and MB says "hello...FATHER." weird.

Then the thing that had attacked Hex and turned her into Venom Hex attacks MB as well. Uh oh! Show ends on the cliffhanger of, er, venom MB >_>

This was kind of meh until Power Rangers parody.

2x08: Gigabyte

...if this means what I think it means, f*** yeah.

Episode picks up where the last one left off. The Megazord is taken away. Bob is still trying to figure out what's wrong with Hex. She's weak, but will recover. Fawng and Bob discuss what attacked her and say because it attacked a virus, it might go after MB. ...and MB is suddenly next to them, but in VENOM FORM.

MB tries to merge with Hex! Bob attacks him and they make their escape while Dot distracts him with a crane. MB tries to infect it, but Dot is savvy this time and drops the crane before he can fully infect the vehicle.

In their escape car, Hex tells Bob that her and MB are brother and sister, from the same viral strain. If they join, the NEXT GENERATION will be formed...(incest?) MB suddenly jumps on their car, takes Hex, and they merge! This new virus looks BADASS.

Bob says there's a possibility that this forms a benign virus. Enzo says "...suurreee, you can tell that by looking at it" sarcastically and Andraia thinks he's being serious. So naive.

Bob approaches. "I AM BECOME GIGABYTE, DESTROYER OF SYSTEMS." Uh oh. Glitch's energy beam does nothing and GB starts beating the crap out of Bob., who escapes and says that Fawng will have to power the place down whle Bob calls for help. He does, to the entire net. Dot attacks it with her big flight thing and that does nothing, but she escapes.

The city powers down and so do their zipboards, those flying things. They are cornered in an alley by GB.

"Dot, I wanna tell you-"
"I know Bob. I know."

Bob sends away Glitch so GB can't use it, and just as GB is about to destroy them both something slices GB's arm off.

IT'S MOUSE! HAH! SHE RETURNED!

They escape together. Dot is jealous of her, lol, and Mouse flirts relentlessly with Bob as they get to the principal office. Fawng doesn't want to let Mouse in, but she hacks in anyway.

Once GB has enough energy he'll be able to use Hex's power to access the net. Uh oh. More tension between Dot and Mouse uh oh.

Meanwhile, GB drains energy from a sprite. The Principal Office shield uses energy, and that means GB will use it to power up. Bob says their best bet might be to give him a huge JOLT of energy, maybe to overload him. A tear would be the only way to get so much.

Mouse's ship is the only working ship, so her and Dot (bad idea) go to get a tear. Dot is going to f***ing kill her.

Bob tools up with whatever Fawng can provide and prepares to stall Gigabyte.

He doesn't have much, and despite what armour he has, gets hit. He's about to be destroyed when HACK AND SLASH APPEAR! YES! They punch GB. They are teaming up against him! Awesome! Fawng now DETATCHES that section of land, Floating Point, from the rest of the city.

Mouse and Dot finally find a tear, and Mouse uses a PS1 controller to rope the tear. Suddenly, there's an explosion and Mouse begins to fall into the...sea. I think Mouse's ship is just called..."ship" lol. Anyway, Dot flies down to save her.

Bob, H and S are now the only sources of energy around because they've been detached so far away. GIGABYTE DRAINS HACK'S ENERGY! NOOOO.

Slash is sad =( AND PUNTS GIGABYTE SO HARD HE LANDS BACK ON MAINFRAME. NO SLASH, BAD SLASH. The energy GB got from Hack enabled him to fly, and he is now sucking energy from the security field!

Fawng has no choice but to lower the shield. GB gets in. Enzo and Andraia stand against him at the entrance...and so does FRISKET F*** YEAH FRISKET.

NO GB DRAINS FRISKET. Slash flies Bob back and he stands in front of GB. Fawng drops a wall in front of the entrance, the true last line of defence for the core.

Dot and Mouse arrive with the tear and drop it on him... GB enjoys the power and energy...but Bob uses it to trap them and split them apart, back to MB, Hex and a third, MYSTERY thing (presumably what infected MB and Hex in the first place).

Bob questions it, but Dot wants to celebrate their victory. Bob is still worried and the episode ends when Mouse presses a flashing, beeping red button on her wrist.

Rating: 8.5/10

Gigabyte was an awesome idea, but it seemed less smart than Megabyte somehow, which is a shame.

Episode 2x09: Trust No One

Ep starts at Al's place. The slow-talking guy is taking out the rubbish when he is attacked by something and the words "trust no one" appear on the screen in green writing. This could be good.

Mouse is at the Diner. She's tying up some loose ends. According to the police chief, there's been an abduction (Al's Chef), and Dot's been abducted as well.

Bob goes to check it out. Mouse has more unfinished business to attend to so she leaves as well, leaving Ms. Brodie, Enzo and Andraia's gratuitously Scottish teacher, in charge of the kids

At Al's, Bob asks a waiter about Dot. Suddenly, two people who are already there say "you ask a lot of questions...guardian."

Mike TV reports on the situation and Mouse is there, "back on level 31"...and has found "another victim!"

Modem and Nully are on to her, Bob doesn't believe it. Modem puts it down to her fangs. "I suspect she is a web creature."
"These aren't theories, they're...delusions!"

Modem tells a story about his sister being kidnapped when he was a kid. Bob scoffs, "next you'll tell me you've seen the user!"
"there is no user, that's just induced mass-psychosis engineered by the guardians"
"but what about the games"
"sent by the guardians to promote the user myth"

Modem doesn't know WHY Mouse is kidnapping these people though.

Nully reminds Bob of Dot while a report of another victim comes in. After Mike completes his report, he is kidnapped!

MOUSE KNEELS OVER THE BODY OF MOUSE, IT WAS MOUSE.

Modem and Nully appear and draw guns on Mouse, Bob is shocked, and Mouse distracts them and slices their guns off with a sword. She kisses Bob! Then runs. He gets a tracer on her and follows.

Modem and Nully bring Mike around.

Bob still doesn't think it's Mouse, because it is shedding its skin. Mouse is at the base and tells her boss, Turbo, that she will rescue the mainframers before getting an ID on the Web Creature

She has the badass sword agan as she enters a room of stuff hanging from the ceiling. Mouse breaks one open and...DOT is inside! Mouse cuts her down.

The creature feeds off their energy. Dot says she's OK. Mouse and Dot cut them all down and they hear the web creature again. It emerges and is...a big thing with huge teeth. It tries to recapture Dot. Mouse wants proof it exists!

Modem and Nully shine a light in its eyes to make it let go. Mouse confirms the web creature to her boss, and Bob is shocked she is working for him...then berates Mouse. Apparently Guardian protocol to deal with a web creature in a place like Mainframe is to destroy the WHOLE PLACE.

Turbo doesn't want to destroy Bob but has no choice, it is protocol. Turbo kind of looks like Duke Nukem. Guardian quickly probes the communicator Mouse has been using and THAT is the device that will destroy everybody. Bob takes it and runs, saying he has to get it out of Mainframe. Meanwhile, the security force arrives with industrial-strength flashlights to keep the creature at bay.

Bob flies incredibly high into the sky to get a safe distance away. It explodes. Bob can't be heard!

The web creature escapes!

Bob is OK, it turns out the tear caused interference.

But the creature can use the tear to form a portal...uh oh...and there's nothing to stop it as it flies to the huge tear that was formed and creates a portal.

"You say Nully...the web is out there."
"No Modem. It's here."

Uhoh. Ep ends with Bob saying to prepare for war.

The way the last few eps have linked together was cool. Finally, a proper arc.
