SM64 > SMG because explorable worlds > linear levels, and regular physics > spherical physics

He basically means you can run around in worlds with nothing to do and nothing interesting to find or collect, and that's better than Galaxy because Galaxy actually makes you do stuff.

I prefer 64 because I didn't like the spherical physics much, to be honest. But it's still a good game. Just not my thing really.

like playing the game without collecting coins, without activating ? Blocks or cannons, or even collecting all the stars with Yoshi's tongue in the DS version

I didn't realize holding a controller was uncomfortable.

It's not that difficult even to rest your arm on your leg or something and still have it be pointing at the sensor bar.

What? You could be holding the thing backwards and it would still detect the wiimote. The only reason to point it at the screen is to shoot those star bits.

Pretty sure you could do this in Galaxy if you really wanted to!

And the ? Blocks and cannons are used so infrequently in Mario 64 that it doesn't even change much if you don't use them. You just can't get 120 stars.

Regardless, I feel like you're exaggerating Mario 64's diversity.

Sunshine sucks get that BS out of here.
