Mario/Sonic would have a great chance to be the #3-rivalry; it'd be the only other team besides Cloud/Sephiroth to have two Noble Niners AND they come from different bases. If enough people vote like Mario/Sonic represents the SNES/Genesis-rivalry, they'll have a slim chance at becoming championship-material.

Too bad we may not see that team since Mario/Bowser's likely to get more nominations.
