It's not really all that shocking since he's been sick for so long. Didn't expect it to happen so quickly after he stepped down though.

I don't think I've ever owned an Apple gadget, but it's had one hell of an impact on technology in general this past decade. Also, whether you liked the guy or not (I honestly don't know much about him), watching his physical deterioration over the years was pretty awful. I wouldn't wish **** like that on my worst enemy.

Most deaths get a "Well that kinds of sucks" reaction out of me, but this time I can honestly say that I feel the world just got a little bit darker. By no means am I an Apple fanboy (only Apple gadgets I've ever used was my dads old Apple II and my 4th gen iPod), but the man was brilliant. Whenever Apple holds a press conference, while I know I probably won't buy their new product, I always pay attention because it'll probably be something interesting. I just hope his successors can hold up his legacy.

And also I'm at a loss for words over Margie Phelps tweets. If there is a god I somehow have a feeling he would be embarrassed by her.

The guy owns several slave shops in China, willingly and warrantlessly puts tracking devices in all the products, calls the middle class a bunch of "useless eaters" and was one of the biggest scumbags on the planet. People like to pretend the term "slavery" no longer applies to our modern planet (mainly because Americans think slavery ended after the Civil War due to their obscene lack of knowledge), but we have more slaves worldwide now than in any point in human history and Apple was at the forefront for how to use the model. Build a factory in a country America doesn't like, put out a few sympathy pieces where you "catch yourself in the act and vow to clean things up", never actually do anything and continue selling as if nothing ever happened.

If you think I have fun with people online, you should see me in real life. It's unreal how mad people get.
