I hear Dark Knight Rises comes out this summer.

Also, I'm not that big on the Bourne movies myself, similarly there's another Daniel Craig Bond flick in the works there's another espionag-y trilogy.

Oh, yeah Sergio Leone / Clint Eastwood Man With No name trilogy. Star Wars original trilogy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, original Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy...

LotR trilogy and original Star Wars are both great as well yeah. It's a difficult category but Ultimatum in particular is the best action movie of the last decade, for me, and Supremacy/Identity are almost on a par with it.

The Bourne Identity is a straight up incredible movie. Supremacy and Ultimatum are just good action films though :\

Like, Supremacy and Ultimatum were practically the same movie. Bad guys bein bad guys controlling the media and Jason Bourne bein all "ima come get you"

Sure they were fun and I enjoyed them... but they were just cash ins with no real plot and don't belong at the top of any "best' list.

They clearly weren't "practically the same movie". It did share some of the same tropes, sure, and that Noah guy in Ultimatum practically stood in for the Brian Cox guy from Supremacy/Identity, but there were major differences in the plot, a far more direct threat in Ultimatum (the "assets") and thus a greater sense of urgency.

Saying they had "no real plot" and that they were just cashins is awful. They had just as much plot as Identity.

lol?

Supremacy and Ultimatum were purely some random guys deciding they want to pick a fight with Bourne for no reason with their jacked up super soldiers again and Bourne being all tired of their **** and kicking ass until he finds them and tells them to knock that **** off. Sure it was cool but..... it was all pretty pointless. Especially since they just did it again in the third movie, exactly like the second. And they undid the ending of Identity like 10 seconds into Supremacy just so they could do exactly what I described.

I will admit the action and stuff improved in Supremacy and Ultimatum, but without the plot of Identity to hold it together, it really was just a cash in.

...Did you watch the movies?

There wasn't exactly "no reason" in Supremacy. Bourne's involvement in the first place was a mistake because they got tricked but the pursuit ended up being important for his character. Ultimatum he got back in on purpose and it finished his character arc by taking down the people responsible for his conditioning/treatment/whatever.

Both times there was a very good reason.

Don't get me wrong, there are some similarities between S/U but I think you're vastly over-exaggerating them.

You either didn't actually watch them/just read summaries, didn't understand them, or are trying to troll.

I enjoy the movies, but two and three did seem to be very similar to each other, and the first was by far the best.
